I have never liked the aftertaste of Kyoto sake, but this is delicious! It has a clean aftertaste!
Today was a very hard day for me.
So this sake was my reward 😆.
I was caught by the word "limited edition".
It is thicker than the usual Houou Mita!
If I was eating commercial dark chocolate, here comes the local Belgian dark chocolate! It's like that. The analogy is not so subtle.
I thought I would like the usual Houou Mita better, but because of its richness, it goes well with the entrée! Delicious!
From left.
Kuroryu, Houou Mita, Taxi Driver
It was fun to drink 3 different kinds of sake!
I love Kuroryu.
Hououmida is super muscat!
Cab Driver, in my opinion, is it just average? (lol).
Since we drink outside, the sake is delicious.
It's difficult to find good snacks when drinking at home, isn't it?
And what goes well with sake?
I drank a special junmai Sohyo at Izakaya in Tochigi and enjoyed it so much that I went out of my way to buy a junmai daiginjo brewed with sake yeast for drinking at the hotel. It was still good, but the difference in taste was not so great for the difference in price (although the sake was still better!). ) So, I thought the cheaper one would be OK.
It went very well with gyoza (dumplings)!
It is easier to drink than the Kita-Akita I had the other day.
However, I would prefer a more refreshing aftertaste.
I thought I liked it better than Kita-Akita, but I still think I like Kita-Akita better, including the aftertaste. Hmmm. It's hard to say.
I've been drinking sake for half a year now, and I started to lose track of what I was drinking and which ones were good, so I started an app, but I still forget. When I get drunk, anything Junmai Daiginjo tastes good (lol) (lol) Is it natural if it's Junmai Daiginjo? (lol)(lol)
