The second restaurant of the "Gurutonami Chigasaki Motomachi 2025 Autumn" was an Indian restaurant where we had beer and a light lunch equivalent of naan, curry, tandoori chicken, and salad 😋.
No sake, so we moved on to the third restaurant, Ponka 👍.
Sure enough, we had our first encounter with sake. This sake was the additional sake we requested.
It has a subtle ginjo aroma, and when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the flavor of the rice. It went well with the "Ebi Majo" (shrimp) that we requested as an additional side dish.

A little drinking iron.
First of all, I bought some Asahiyama at a convenience store.
I guess it's what you call a regular sake... but it's tasty and free of miscellaneous flavors 😋.
I think it has a strong umami taste among Niigata's sake. I think it could be sold for a better price!
The seventh kind.
Asahiyama is a brand of Asahi Shuzo and has a longer history than Kubota, but Kubota is more famous throughout Japan now.
It has a rich rice flavor and is very dry. It is a very different sake from Kubota.
A gift 🍶 from the
Last November's "Yuku-nen Kuru-nen".
The aroma is mellow, sweet and fruity, and the smooth first impression is followed by the spread of umami and sweetness of rice. It has a dry and crisp aftertaste towards the end.
Niigata Prefecture
Junmai Sake
Rice polishing ratio 65
Alcohol 15%.
It has a rich flavor typical of junmai sake, but the sweetness is not strong and it feels dry.
It leaves a powdery taste on the tongue, which is interesting.
It has a dry taste with a rich flavor, rather than the lightness typical of Niigata.

A refreshingly light and dry sake.
It has the feeling of being a Niigata sake.
It has a slight chocolate aftertaste.
It can be served with any kind of food.
