The rice is planted only in fields that are on the same water vein as the underground water (brewing water) that flows into the brewery. For SENKYO, the rice and the water promise the best marriage.

Origin of the figure
It is derived from the Kagami-sui (mirror water) pond in Otokomaru (the pond of the figure-viewing), which is said to be the pond where Princess Yae copied her own image in the legend of Yahyaku-bioni, one of the eight waters of Manako.

100% Gohyakumangoku rice grown in Chiba Prefecture is used. Newly brewed junmai nama sake is aged in an ice refrigerator at -5℃ for more than half a year.
