This is a new type of sake for me. On the palate, it has a heavy taste and aroma as if it were aged sake, but it quickly disappears with a slight foaming sensation. Because of the white koji, it has an aroma like rice shochu, and it is suitable for sipping.
When visiting Chichibu, it was served at a ryokan. Although it is a genuine brewed sake, it has a flavor like a ginjo and is delicious with a refreshing taste.
