Okayama Marathon Souvenir No. 4
Sake from Tohoku for some reason
I could taste the sweetness of rice.
When I tried heating it up, it tasted a little lighter.
It's getting colder, so I'm a little worried about drinking warm sake.
The third souvenir from the Okayama Marathon
I immediately bought a bottle of Bodai-Hashiroshi Gozenshu, which I had wanted to try, because it is a heated sake!
It was getting quite cold, so I had it lukewarm.
The color is a slight champagne gold.
It has a hint of acidity when served cold, but when heated, it is a nice, fluffy sake!
Good as a food sake!
Great sake!
Okayama Marathon Souvenir No. 2
Read the label and you'll see that it's a sake made with a focus on Aizu.
That alone is enough to satisfy me.
Sake that is refreshing and easy to drink. Perfect as a food sake!
I heard it can also be served warmed up, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be when heated up next week!
Okayama Marathon Reward Sake Vol. 1
Sake made in collaboration with a local sake store and brewery
Sake with a rich, dry taste that lives up to its name of "rich and dry".
You can even taste the fruity flavor.
A good sake!
My wife's third souvenir from her trip to Kagoshima
Slightly sparkling when you drink it
Full of sweetness of rice!
It is so sweet that it can touch a meal!
Do people in Kyushu like sweet things?
My wife's second souvenir from her trip to Kagoshima
This is a special pure rice sake from "Yokoyama", which we have already had once.
It is brewed with "Gin-no-sato" sake rice grown in Iki, which is OK.
It may be so-called sweet sake, but it has a deep flavor of rice.
Delicious sake!
First souvenir from my wife's trip to Kagoshima: the rumored Tenpyo.
It had a fruity taste like a ginjo.
Sweetness and acidity that lingers on the palate.
Delicious sake!
Noto Sake Reconstruction Assistance Vol. 2
Sake brewed by Sakurada Shuzo, a Noto sake brewery that was damaged by the earthquake, in collaboration with Kurumada Shuzo of Tengumai
Sake to be enjoyed as an everyday sake.
Recovery may be a difficult task, but we wish them the best.
Purchased at the Noto Sake Brewery Reconstruction Support Event held at the Expo Commemorative Park Station of the Han Monorail, which I happened to visit.
It is said to be a sake brewed jointly by a brewery in Noto that suffered from the disaster and a major brewery in Kanazawa.
The sweetness and umami of the rice is just delicious.
If I can drink my favorite sake and support the recovery, I'll drink more and more!
The third different rice of Kaze no Mori Week, Omachi sake!
If it tastes this good at 80% rice polishing ratio, it makes you wonder what the point is in cutting down the rice.
I got carried away and tried a comparison of three different types of sake.
Yamadanishiki, Aizan, and Omachi are all delicious!
There are some differences, but I can't verbalize them. I am just ashamed of my stupid tongue!
Comparison of Kaze no Mori
How much difference is there between Aiyama and Yamadanishiki?
Yamadanishiki is crisp and Aizan is soft, both are delicious!
I think I prefer Aizan.
Purchased at "Wind Forest Weeks 2025" at Daimaru Shinsaibashi store.
One of the two bottles I bought with different rice, attracted by the limited sales. Sake rice is Aiyama.
As the note says, it is carbonated and shuwa!
A refreshing summer sake!
Next, a comparison with a sake brewed with Yamadanishiki
Fourth souvenir from back home?
I heard it was from a sake brewery in Matsuyama. I had never heard of the brewery or its brand.
I had never heard of the name or brand of the brewery.
Delicious sake!
Offering drop-offs
Canned sake with the logo of Nishinomiya City and pictures of famous places
I don't have any comments on the sake, but it's nice to see NIHO being used in so many different ways.
We received a drop-off of sake for the Obon Festival.
I'm sure they're thinking of all sorts of things in their stable supply of regular sake.
It was exactly the kind of sake that is normally delicious.
The third souvenir from back home
A bottle I bought last year!
Brewed with rice from Ehime and water from Saijo
The impression of a crisp sake rather than the "gentle mouthfeel" on the label
It's still hot, so it's just right for me!
The first souvenir of returning home
Iyo Gagiya, which is hard to find in Kansai
The name "Harmony" is derived from the word "Waeru" written on the label.
The moderate acidity and umami of rice go well with meals.
Since it is a pure sake, be careful not to drink too much!
San-in Travel Souvenirs, Final Edition
Sake that I knew the name from magazines and columns but could not get easily
I found this one and bought it for the first time!
It wasn't that special, but it was certainly a delicious sake!
Fruity taste
