Purchased at a liquor store near my house.
Very similar to Jyushidai!
It surpassed the taste of Tenmei Leap No. 2, which was the unquestionable No. 2 in my opinion.
However, the drawback is that it is not as cosy as Tenmei.
A top 5 sake from Kuroryu 🍶.
It's good! The owner and waitresses are funny and it's my favorite sushi restaurant in Japan. If you are in the Tokorozawa area, please visit!
From left to right in the image,
Bessen Morohaku (spicy)
Yamadanishiki Nakadori Daiginjo (Balanced)⭐︎
Chotokusen (sweet)
Sake Mirai Daiginjo (Slightly spicy)
Yamadanishiki Daigokujo (sweet)
It's hard to choose one over the other, but for today's mood, I'd have to go with the Nakadori Daiginjo!
High end of Kudokigake. It is said to be limited to only 60 bottles per year. This one is sweeter than the one we drank the other day, even though it has a higher rice polishing ratio. It is as good as Jyushiyo.
Threateningly polished rice ratio of 22%! I have never drank something so polished before. Although it has a sake level of -3, it does not feel that sweet. The spiciness that is typical of sake can be felt and is well balanced.
Traveling in Yamagata. I'm drinking at a restaurant called Kushida in front of Yamagata station. Everything is too good.
Jyushidai
Yamada-Nishiki Dai-Gokujo
Ryu no Ochiko Dai-Gokujo
Nanadaru Nijuukan
Arahashigiri Kamimoroshiro
Souki
The "Arahashiri Kami-Morohaku" may be better in terms of cost performance!
The Daigokujo series seems to be a new series started about 2 years ago.
I finally got to drink a sake that has been on my mind lately. It is a sake-like sake, but easy to drink. The rice polishing ratio is 50%, so I guess it's on the level of a good ginjo.
I like the wording on the label. Next time I want to try a daiginjo!
