It is said to be a sake made in the Edo period (1603-1868). It tastes slightly like brandy, like electrolytic blanc. It is sweet for a rice polishing ratio of 88. Odd.
It has been half a year since I moved to Sendai and I have gotten used to life. I have a drink at BAL, the best Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. Yum!
We have found a special Miyakanume. The rice is milled to a threatening 10.9 percent! The balance is not compromised, and I think it tastes better than the 30%/5% one!
The taste is similar to that of Jyushiyo. But this is about as good as the very top level of Jyushidai.
I drink it at an amazing restaurant that serves Jyushidai jungin chugin for 1,000 yen a glass. Iroha Yokocho
It tastes like a rice wine, but the breadth and aroma in the mouth give it a Jyushidai flavor. It was incredibly tasty. The foie gras bruschetta was so good that I ordered it twice.
