Instrument Masamune forte piano The first impression on the palate is sweetness, ginjo aroma, and weak acidity, and the low alcohol content (13%) makes it light and refreshing. This is delicious. It is addictive. Although it is light, it has a rather sweet taste and is not too thin. However, it is not a persistent sweetness, but a light sweetness. It has a high degree of perfection. The quality of the sake is very clean. The aftertaste is also refreshing. There is not much alcohol and the taste is gentle. It is of course delicious cold, but the sweetness increases around room temperature. Personally, I think it is one of the best sake of all the Masamune brands. Highly recommended.

Nichinichi Yamadanishiki Delicious. The alcohol is 12 degrees and has a gentle taste. The sweetness comes first, and then the bitterness lingers. It has a gaseous taste and may be a bit like rum. You don't feel much alcohol, and the drink is refreshing. The taste is somewhat addictive. It can be enjoyed as a food wine or as a stand-alone drink.

Kikunosato Junmai Ginjo At an izakaya. Forgot to take a picture. Sake from a famous brewery in Ona. I couldn't see the label, so I don't know the details of which sake it is. The sake was clear, dry, and went well with food. The sake had a rather strong sake-like flavor, but it was not heavy, and was pleasant to drink. It has a sweetness, but it has a nice sharpness. Omi Neko Masamune SHIRONEKO Junmai Ginjo-shu Omi Neko Masamune" by Omi Shuzo, which went out of business. Now Maihime Shuzo has taken over as "Shinshu Neko Masamune". I drank the Omi Neko Masamune. The label is cute with a cat. As a sake, it is rather flat and has no outstanding characteristics. It has a mild sake quality and is surprisingly refreshing. There is a slight alcohol taste, but there is nothing bad to note about the sake. For better or worse, it is the type of sake that one does not get tired of drinking. It was made more than a year ago, so the quality of the sake may have changed somewhat. To be honest, I was very hesitant to open the bottle because Neko Masamune made by Omi Shuzo is no longer available, but I thought it would be a bad idea to keep it any longer, so I opened it.

Instrument Masamune Junjyo A consistently delicious instrumental Masamune. Beautiful sake quality and perfection. Delicious, too delicious. Delicious with a slight gaseous taste and sweet and sour taste in harmony. There is a little bit of a rummy feel to it. I think the acidity is slightly stronger than when I drank it before. It is still tasty, so there is no problem. The alcohol content is 13%, so you don't feel the insistence of alcohol, and it has a gentle taste. This sake was awarded third place in the Junmai-shu category at the SAKE COMPETITION 2024, and its ability is well documented. It tastes refreshing and light when well chilled, but it has a different taste at room temperature, where it is calmer and its sweetness stands out. Of course, it requires refrigeration, so it should be stored in the refrigerator. Recommended sake.

Kikusui Funaguchi Daiginjo Nama Sake A limited-edition brew commemorating the 50th anniversary of FUNAGUCHI. Compared to regular Funaguchi, it has a gorgeous, sweet flavor. It has a refreshing mouthfeel. It has a refreshing ginjo aroma and a slightly cloudy, grain-like aroma. There is a slight nose-irritating alcohol smell. It is a little dangerous because it does not feel like it has 19% alcohol content. The sweetness and acidity are good, and it tastes good. Good.

Shirakiku of Okunoto" is made at the Yukawa Sake Brewery, which brews "Kuroemon XVI. It is labeled as "Okunoto sake brewed in Kiso. It is a restored sake brewed at the Yukawa Sake Brewery under the supervision of the Shirafuji Sake Brewery, which suffered from the disaster. The quality of the sake is rather robust. The sweetness and umami of the rice spreads softly. Surprisingly, there is no leanness in the flavor, and it has a cohesive taste. There is a slight alcohol taste, but it gives a refreshing feeling. It is a bit on the dry side. I think it is a type of sake that is good at any temperature.
