This Sake is clean and has a little dryness. Hints of wood flavor makes this very enjoyable with food. This brewery has been in existence for over 350 years! Another good Sake from Tochigi!

This Sake is semi sweet and has a full mouth feel. There is a light effervescence and wonderful muscat flavor. The mouth feel is full, sweet and soft. The finish is short and clean. This seasonal Sake is a nice treat!

This Sake has a light amber color and a soft wood flavor. The mouth feel is full and soft. It starts with light sweetness and good acidity then moves to a long, dry finish. I am drinking this at a cold temperature and I thought it would have a stronger flavor, but the flavor is gentle and has a good balance.

This Sake is a top winner in both the 2023 Kura Master Platinum winner and 2023 US National Sake Appraisal Gold winner. The fruity peach aroma and flavor are delightful. The finish is sharp and clean. I find this interesting because it is juicy and full, followed by tart and clean. Another great Sake from Tochigi.

I just drank this last month but am very happy to have it again. The juicy flavor of apple and the tart , clean finish gives this Sake a refreshing feel. It keeps me coming back for more. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

This Sake is smooth and mild. A beautiful Sake that is floral, clean and has a mild finish. The peach flavor is mild. I always mistake this for a Daiginjo instead of Junmai Ginjo. An excellent Sake from Fukushima.

This Sake is mildly sweet and has a soft and full mouth feel. It does have a rich flavor with a flavor that reminds me of white flowers. About midway the dryness starts and continues to the finish. I think there is the flavor of celery at the finish. ๐Ÿค”

This Sake has a nice medium mouth feel and enough acidity to give a clean finish. The flavor reminds me of dried apricot with the sweetness of pear. The full flavors feel rich and colorful. I'm glad to have this Sake again.

I'm revisiting this Sake because the Sake store I go to did not have anything new. I do enjoy the juicy mouth feel and the light finish. The ripe apple flavor is refreshing and tasty. Even the store owner knows I like Mutsuhassen. ๐Ÿ˜‹

This Sake is light and dry. The subtle sweetness is a bit fruity. The flavor of apple is mild and there is also the flavor of alcohol. The finish is clean and dry. This is a little different from other Niigata Sake I drank in the past and it's good.
