I found a cute little one that I've been seeing at Sake-no-wa a bit here and there, so I bought it 😉.
It's a low alcohol, refreshing, and easy to guzzle 🎵.
The taste and cute labels would be great for home parties, birthday parties, etc. ✨
Rice: Aomori Prefecture rice
7% by volume
Surprised apple in spite of being sake! Nice balance of sourness and sweetness. It has a refreshing sourness like an apple.
A true apple!
I bought it because of the cute packaging, but it also tastes softly sweet and very pretty.
It doesn't feel like alcohol at all, so even people who don't like sake can drink it like juice.
It is also 7 degrees, so I guess I can drink it with some gusto lol.
Preferred 60%.
Label None (no alcohol added, but maybe not according to junmai sake standards)
Color Pale yellow
Nose: Thin amazake-like aroma. In the mouth, it has a sour taste and a sweet, apple-like lingering aroma.
Taste: When drunk cold, it tastes like "apple juice diluted with water" due to the low alcohol content.
If you drink it cold, it tastes like "apple juice diluted with water" due to its low alcohol content. If you drink it at room temperature, the sourness is strong from the start, and it becomes a completely different sake.
Overall impression: Halfway through. If you don't like alcohol, apple juice would be better, and it is not enough to drink as a sake. It is not a main alcoholic beverage.
It depends on the temperature, but the acidity is so strong that it can be used as a "reset" sake.
