Hououmita Hekihan Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Honsei This is a limited new brew of Hououmita, Hekioban. We compared it with the other day's white. It has the aroma of freshly picked lychee and muscat. I've never eaten a freshly picked lychee.

I bought my first sake in Nagoya. It's a sake from Tochigi. It is the earliest freshly pressed sake in Japan. It's fresh and juicy, without the bitterness of alcohol. I also bought a glass.

Saga Prefecture Shichida Aizan Junmai Hiyoroshi A low polished hiyaoroshi of Nanada's Aiyama. The complex flavor of Aizan and the mellowness of hiyaoroshi are perfectly combined in this sake. I would like to buy this sake again next year in this season.

Hououmita Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture This sake is made from Yume Sarara, Tochigi's sake rice, using the traditional "native-production" method. It is sweet and sour, fresh and juicy, but with a clean aftertaste that does not interfere with meals. It is very delicious.

Yamato Shizuku Junmai Ginjo Misoshiki Direct Flame Juicy and fruity like raw sake. Misoshiki is an elite sake rice whose parents are Yamadanishiki and Miyamanishiki. I wish it would become more popular.
