This is a low polished rice sake with a milling ratio of 90%. It seems that the brewer does not add any additives to the rice, and that is why you do not feel any miscellaneous taste at all. To put it simply, it is the Calpis version of Kido. It is more sour than regular Junmai Ginjo sake. It is slightly carbonated, so when you hold it in your mouth, your tongue will feel a little numb, and in the latter half, you will feel a bitter taste and it will disappear quickly. It is the kind of sake that you want to drink forever.

I tried it in four temperature ranges: cold sake, cold, lukewarm and hot. Chilled sake: Singer's unique flavor and the heavy alcohol content of the original sake. Chilled: The sensation of richness and body that I felt with chilled sake is softened and the taste is easy to drink. It's good. Warmed: This is a great warmed-up version that shows its true colors and flavors. It has no bad taste at all. Perhaps it's because it's an old syochu liqueur, but it has a deep, rich flavor. Warmed: Not at all quirky. Personally, I like it best when it's lukewarm. Can be drunk indefinitely.

My favorite brand, Omachi of Kido. It has a refreshing aroma typical of Kido, and on the palate you get a fruity aroma like a green apple. In the second half, the strength of the Omachi rice stands out and you can feel the depth. If you like Kido, you should definitely drink this at least once.

I got this Katsu-Koma in Toyama. The Honjikomi is one of the lowest brand names, but with 55% polishing ratio, it is promising enough. The aroma is muscat-like and fruity. I drank it cold today with a meal, and it was exceptionally tasty with no bad taste at all! It's perfect as a food sipper and will be enjoyed in many different temperature ranges. If I get a chance, I'd like to try the higher-ranked sake again.

Just as it says on the back, it has a refreshing green apple-like aroma. It has just the right amount of flavor and acidity, and is easy to drink. Perhaps because the rice is polished to 70%, it is not as dull as low-polished sake, and I don't think it makes you feel tired of drinking it.
