Return to Edo. That is the theme of Sengoku, which has been rebranded this year. We were served the first sake of the rebranding. Although it is a standard sake, it is hard to obtain now. As a fan of SENKYO, I could not miss this special version. I was nervous when I opened the bottle. It has a citrusy taste, which is typical of Sengoku, but it is different from the modern fast brewed sake, which is made from the traditional sake yeast. It is a super fresh sake as it is a nama-shu (directly pumped) and is made with Yamadanishiki and Omachi. I read somewhere that it also gives the impression of the classic innocent so far. I am looking forward to drinking all of them. I have a feeling that I will love Sentori from now on. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We got it again this year, Shiraginkai. I think the amount of nigori sake I have consumed recently is not good at all (my health checkup showed no problems at all). The taste is a fruity sweet nigori sake without the bitterness in the aftertaste that is characteristic of Kangiku. It is a stable taste, and I am very satisfied with it this year as well. Recently, I often find that nigori sake with less sweetness tastes better, but I still want to drink it again and again. I will continue to drink more and more of Kangiku's sake this season. Snow clouds we got again this year. No, no, it's so good lol. It had a decent taste of rice compared to last year, and it really was like a less sweet Calpis Sour. Since it is nigori sake, the sweet component is stronger as a flavor, but there is no dullness, and combined with the silky taste, it is very easy to drink. We had it again this year, the winter otsukiri. It was as delicious as ever and was gone in an instant. The silky, juicy flavor characteristic of nigori sake and the muscat-like flavor typical of Omine-san are addictive. I would like to buy it again if it is still in stock in December. Ei, a brand exclusive to Kuroryu's directly-managed store in Eiheiji-cho. You can buy it at ESIKOTO, which is run by Mr. Kuroryu. My junior bought it for me when he went to Fukui Prefecture. He is a very talented junior lol. The taste is typical of Kuroryu's sake, with a dry taste and the umami of rice. It has a very clear, light, and beautiful mouthfeel, and it disappears so quickly that you don't feel like you are drinking sake, and it tastes like a high-class sake. It is a very rare sake, so I enjoyed it very carefully. I would be happy to have the opportunity to have it again. Thank you very much for the treat.

A new product has been released and as a fan, I'm buying it anyway lol. As a fan, I am very happy to hear that this is a long-awaited standard sake, and I will be able to buy it throughout the year from now on. The taste is generally subdued, with a fruity, muscat-like flavor typical of Koei-Kiku, but it goes in and disappears quickly and easily. The specs of "special junmai" are written on the bottle, and I think this is probably the first time such specs are written on a bottle. This is the first Yukiten in two years. This sake was not released last year due to Mr. Fujioka's departure from the company. The taste is stable and delicious. The taste is a bit mellower than when Mr. Fujioka was at the helm, but it has a nice silky accent and a fresh sweetness that makes you feel as if you are drinking a carbonated beverage called "Skoal. The nigori sake has a bit of a "squashy" taste, but it is moderate and not overly vigorous. It was a satisfying sake for the beginning of the 2024 brewing year. I am looking forward to another year. We received Yoshidagurau again this month. Pray & Snow is a sake that I enjoy every year. It is a winter sake, not a nama-shu, and even though it is fire-aged, it has a beautiful wintery mouthfeel. It has a refreshing taste like nama-shu and the sweetness of hyakumangoku-no-white is very delicious. I would like to have this sake every year. Thank you very much for the sake.

This was the last Organic Naturals W before returning to Edo. it was one of my favorite Organic Naturals, so I had it before it ran out. It is a noble sake, so even Organic Naturals have a sweetness to them. It is not too sweet, but it has a refreshing sweetness like Organic Naturals, and I felt that I liked it. Since the Kijoshu has not been announced in the lineup for the Edo trip, I am not sure if it will be gone or not. Even if it is not a regular product, I would like to see them release a limited edition product. I was able to taste it to the end. Thank you for the treat.

It has been a long time since I had a bakuren. This time it is a white bakuren. I like the regular Kudokidokutei, but it has a strong sweetness, so lately I think I prefer the Kame-no-i Bakuren. It is not too sweet, but has a good umami flavor. It has an ease of drinking that is different from classic sake, and is highly recommended for dry sake beginners. The rice flavor becomes stronger and stronger toward the end of the bottle, and the deeper the flavor is, the better. I would like to have it again. Thank you very much.

I had a bottle of Mikumari from Houou Mita that I had been curious about for a long time. It was written that it had a gaseous taste, but it was so shrizzy that I thought it was a sparkling wine. After the gaseous sensation, I could taste the sweetness that is typical of Hououmida, but the sweetness was restrained, and the taste did not fight with the gaseous sensation. Each sake brewer has released various brands, and it is very good that the core taste remains the same while new flavors are introduced. I would like to enjoy different sake again. This is the first time I have applied for IMADEYA's GUITO! I am very much looking forward to this project where I can enjoy challenging sake from breweries that do not usually distribute their products. The first was a limited edition of Garakudai by Tenryohai Sake Brewery. It is the first sake to use 1401 yeast. The characteristics of 1401 yeast are low acidity and high ginjo aroma, which makes it a light and dry sake. It is the perfect yeast for the light and dry Garakudai. This sake is also characterized by its low sweetness and lack of flamboyance, making it a refreshing sake. This sake is also good as a food sake, and is recommended for people who like gorgeous fruity sake but would like to try a light and refreshing sake. I am looking forward to next month's hanpunshu. It has been a while since I had Akabu. I love Akabu in its raw form. And it is a fruity sake again, just like green apples! It was like drinking green apple juice and I couldn't believe it was sake. I wish they would offer this kind of sake at restaurants where college students can go... I think that way, even young people would be able to appreciate the taste of sake... Since it is junmai ginjo, it is light and light, so there is no heaviness after drinking. I was very satisfied. Thank you very much for the treat!

With the end of the year approaching, the opening rate of Shinsei is getting higher lol. Well, this time it's Flax Cat Spark. I really love this white malted rice sake, and it is one of my top 5 sakes from Shinsei. It is a very carefully crafted sparkling sake with delicate bubbles and a great balance between the fruity taste of the No. 6 yeast and the acidity of the white malted rice that does not disappear. I think I might like it better than the normal Flax Cat. It is a sake that I have not had much luck with among the Shinmasa brands, and although I let it sit for about half a year, I am glad that I was able to enjoy it before it lost its deliciousness! I hope to have another chance to try it next time. Shinmasa, I hear that you produce a lot of sake, but there are so many varieties that I don't think the amount of sake produced per variety is keeping up with demand... I wish you would hold events not only in Kanto but also in Kansai... I hope and pray for the next opportunity to meet you and Flaxcat Spark... Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This year we were able to purchase Tanaka Sentori, which we could not get last year. The price was in the high 4,000 yen range. Well, it's a collaboration, so it can't be helped, lol. My impression is that this year's Tanaka Rokugo has the full flavor of Tanaka Rokugo. Sengoku's characteristic is a unique citrus taste, but I could hardly taste it in this year's Tanaka Sengoku. I was told that SENKYO's sake was made using SENKYO's sake yeast, but I did not feel it that strongly, and I felt like I was drinking Tanaka Rokuugo. I love Tanaka Rokugo, and it is a delicious sake with an authentic dry taste, but I was disappointed that there was almost nothing like Sengoku. I wonder how it was last year. I rarely have too many negative impressions of sake, but as a collaboration sake, I have a negative impression. It is a delicious sake, so I think you can be completely satisfied with it regardless of the collaboration. Thank you for the sake.

This is my favorite Kinjo-Kijoshu from Yoshida Kurau. Some reviewers said that it has a strong wild taste and does not have a kijoshu feel, but I found it to have a sweetness like kijoshu. It is less floral, but it is a calm sweet sake with a wild taste derived from kinchaku. The regular kinjo-shu was lighter and I could properly taste the difference in flavor. It was a very delicious sake and I would like to have more and more sake from Yoshida Sake Brewery in the future. I am looking forward to having them again next year! It has been a long time since I had a bottle of Shichibonshiryari. I opened the bottle on the 22nd, after a very tiring day of teaching school for the first time. This sake was brewed using the classic method of using wooden vats and a traditional sake yeast yeast yeast, and the bottle also had a sake-like appearance. The sake is easy to drink and has a refined sweetness and umami of rice. Since it is a sake with a fresh yeast yeast, the umami is not instantaneous, but rather smooth and full-flavored. The taste is as expected from Tomita Shuzo. I would like to visit the brewery if I ever go to Nagahama. I would like to have it again! Thank you for the sake!

Ash we had a chance to meet last year! According to Mr. Sato, this sake is suitable for aging, so we had it laid down for a year. It is a special sake, so we opened the bottle at a house party with friends! Kame-no-o had a sharp impression, but after a year of aging, the corners were removed and the flavor became mellow. Since it is Kame-no-o, it is not glamorous, but has a calm and mellow taste combined with a citrus flavor that is typical of No. 6 yeast. The Cosmos I had the other day was gorgeous and tasted like pink grapefruit, but this time it was a calm sake that complemented the food. It was very tasty! Thank you very much!

I'm back to light fruity again. lol I'll be scolded again lol. I just want to drink Kaze no Mori every once in a while. This sake made with ultra-hard water is not dry, but after drinking it, I go "kuwah" lol. Dew leaves wind is not that glamorous, so I feel it is more sharp than fruity, and it can be scruffy. On the second day, the "kuwakku" feeling subsides, but it still has a refreshing sharpness to it.
