One of the bottles of sake I bought as a souvenir from my trip to Sendai. The lid was too hard to open...I struggled with it for more than 5 minutes. The aroma is a bit lactic. It is quite sweet, but the carbonation makes it flow nicely. I first drank it with a hot pot, but it went well with cheese and prosciutto I picked up later! It feels almost like a sparkling white wine. I haven't had sparkling sake in a while, but it was delicious!

My first Kangiku! I found this at a local liquor store. I had been wanting to drink it for a long time, so I bought it immediately! It is served with oden and sashimi. It has a fruity aroma and as the description says, it tastes juicy, fresh, and exciting. It has a slight gassy taste and is quite sweet, but the aftertaste is refreshing and you can drink more and more of it. Is it similar to Oze no Yukidoke? This one is juicier, but I think the strains are similar. I have found another sake I like...! It was very tasty - I'm sure I'll repeat it!

The second bottle in the drinking comparison is Machida Shuzo. My boss recommended it to me and I bought it for the first time. It is directly pumped, so the aroma floats in the air. When I drank it, I found it to be moderately sweet and sour! It has a moderate gassiness and a bitter taste at the end. It was also a delicious sake that went well with yellowtail shabu-shabu! Yellowtail is on sale at a local supermarket! Tonight is yellowtail shabu-shabu! ...So, of course, sake was served. This time, we had a sake comparison party in Gunma. Oze no Yukidoke and Machida Sake Brewery! First, we had Oze no Yukidoke. It has a fruity aroma! Melon and banana-like? There is quite a bit of sweetness and some acidity. Almost no gassy feeling. It has a strong sweetness but a clean aftertaste. There is no bitterness or eginess at all, and it tastes just like the name "snowdrift" implies! It went very well with yellowtail shabu-shabu. It is a daiginjo at a reasonable price, and is a wonderful sake!

During my trip, I went to a liquor store near Sendai station...they have Hirotogawa nigori, which I often see at Sake no Wawa! I had no choice but to buy it! So I had it delivered to my house and had it on the day of arrival. The aroma is yogurt-like, but not too strong. The aroma is yogurt-like, but not too strong. When you drink it, you first taste sweetness, then sourness, and finally bitterness. The bitter taste comes at the end and it is easy to drink. My wife and I drank it together, and it was almost our first nigori sake. We wondered if the sweetness would be stronger if we mixed it with the supernatant, but we were surprised to find that the bitterness became stronger when we mixed it with the supernatant. It was delicious and went well with meals! It was a fun by-product of our trip... ♪

On the second day of our trip, we went to Shiogama. We went to the famous sushi restaurant "Sushi Tetsu". Since we were on vacation, we splurged. After deciding on sushi, I was wondering what kind of sake to order when the waitress told me that the whole town was currently holding a new sake festival. I was so excited that I decided on sushi and was wondering what kind of sake I would like! The new sake festival is supposed to be a sake comparison between Urakasumi and Abekan, but unfortunately Abekan is out of stock. We will have the Urakasumi. It is quite different from the Karakuchi we drank yesterday! It has a fruity aroma and a slightly sweet but refreshing taste. It was a perfect match for sushi. We had to check in at Urakumi two days in a row, and it was a great trip with delicious sake!

This time, the wind forest seems to be read as Yumachi 807 "ikakitori". This is the first time I have seen this kanji. It is served with yudofu. It has a fruity aroma of green apple. I went to the Sentori Fair at Asano Sake Shop. I had a great time comparing 6 different kinds of SENKYO. I am still a sake novice and most of them were new to me, but all six were delicious...! It is interesting to compare the different tastes. I checked in with the classic one, which was my favorite. The aroma, sweetness, and sourness were just right for my taste. It's fun to drink outside! I want to go back!

For various reasons, we were given a bottle of Houou Mita Mikumari as a gift! Since it was a short notice, we had to drink it with beef stew, lol, but it goes surprisingly well with it! I had never had Modern, so I bought it before the pre-renewal stuff ran out. It has a clean sweetness with a sourness and no gasiness. I drank it with hot pot and it went very well. It's not too strong, so it would go well with many dishes. It was quite to my liking! I would like to drink the sake after the renewal as soon as possible.

My wife and I went to a liquor store where we could drink at the corner and she liked it so we bought it. It was a little sweet but had a clean aftertaste and was slightly sparkling. It was my first time drinking Hagi no Tsuru and it was delicious. It is fun to try different kinds of sake at liquor stores to find the right brand.

I drank hiyaoroshi at the end of autumn. I should like Sawanoi, but both the smell and taste were too sweet for my liking... I think I probably stored it too properly, because I didn't find anything similar in other people's impressions. I will have to be more careful about how I store them in the future... I regret that.

First Wind Forest! I found it again at a local supermarket. I feel like I have been able to encounter many different kinds of sake since I gained knowledge of sake at Sake-no-Wawa. I drank it with a glass of wine at the Coco Farm Harvest Festival I went to the other day. At first, a fruity aroma wafted through my nose, followed by a powerful taste. It has a strong sweetness, but there is also a good amount of acidity. The slight bubbles are pleasant. Overall, it was very tasty! I have heard that there are various types of Kaze no Mori, so I would like to try other types more and more in the future! Note: 2,618 yen including tax

For some reason, I drank Kido for the first time because it was on sale at a local supermarket. I guess I need to check the supermarkets without letting my guard down. The taste was strong but not heavy, and I enjoyed drinking it more and more. And the price was less than 2,000 yen. It is indeed a famous sake... Sake bought at Sawanoi Kurabiraki on October 26. It is a new sake. It is kind of... sharp! It has a spicy aftertaste, and I personally found it tastier with rice than with sake alone. I was satisfied because the sake was delicious and it was a fun event!
