During my trip, I went to a liquor store near Sendai station...they have Hirotogawa nigori, which I often see at Sake no Wawa! I had no choice but to buy it!
So I had it delivered to my house and had it on the day of arrival.
The aroma is yogurt-like, but not too strong. The aroma is yogurt-like, but not too strong. When you drink it, you first taste sweetness, then sourness, and finally bitterness. The bitter taste comes at the end and it is easy to drink.
My wife and I drank it together, and it was almost our first nigori sake. We wondered if the sweetness would be stronger if we mixed it with the supernatant, but we were surprised to find that the bitterness became stronger when we mixed it with the supernatant.
It was delicious and went well with meals! It was a fun by-product of our trip... ♪
