I saw it featured on the Instagram of my favorite liquor store and immediately went to buy it when I saw how delicious it looked ❤️!
This is a new sake brewery that was established in Kochi in 2024 by a former toji (master brewer) of Kameizumi for about 20 years.
The sake is made with special grade Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture and a yeast called Little CEL24, which is different from CEL24.
It has a gorgeous pineapple-like aroma, melon sweetness and flavor, and is very easy to drink.
The second day after opening the bottle, it became mellower and tastier!
I thought the brand name "Clouds in the Mountains," the name of the first sake "Zaaa Zaaa," and the design of the label were all very nice, feeling fresh and new, but also simple and neatly Japanese in their beauty!
Somehow, it reminded me of a poem by Kenji Miyazawa. Kenji was from Iwate, and this one is from Kochi, lol!

We went to GOKURI in Omiya to compare sake. We drank a variety of sake, including Hanahayo, Shinmasa, Kudokibe, Haneya, and Kameizumi CEL24, but this was the No. 1 sake of the day!

We went on a sake brewery tour at Ishikawa Sake Brewery, a 5-minute cab ride from Haijima on the Chuo Line from Tokyo. ❤️
We were shown the brewery where they make sake and the brewery where they make beer, and were given detailed explanations and tasting samples. ‼️
At the beer hut, there was a freshly baked pizza and many appetizers made with sakekasu (sake lees), which was really delicious. ❣️
As a souvenir, I bought a bottle of Tamanjumo Hana Ginjo.
It has a very gorgeous aroma and tastes dry and clean, very delicious 😋.

On this day, we had the seasonal sea urchin course!
We drank it while enjoying the sea urchin on top of the gunkan and their specialty, the sea urchin parfait!
The drink had a fruity and delicious flavor and was easy to drink. It was so delicious!

The restaurant was featured on TV's "Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai" (The World That Matsuko Doesn't Know), so it's a popular place and you can't get in without a reservation.

Kangiku Meikyu brews a very limited Occasional Series only once a year. It is made from Sake Mirai rice, which was cultivated for 18 years by Tatsugoro Takagi of Jyushiyo Takagi Sake Brewery.
It has a gorgeous aroma, a shwashy, fruity taste, and plenty of umami! Delicious!

Kaze no Mori from Nara,
I had never heard of Akitsuho 675 sake rice before!
It's dry but thick and a little fizzy.
It has a rich aftertaste and I think I'm going to get drunk soon lol!

It was the first time in a while that I won the right to purchase Hachitan-Nishiki, which I was able to purchase after winning the lottery for the Raffle Raffle!
When the bottle is opened, it has a pineapple aroma!
The first sip is sweet and mellow, with a crisp, dry finish.
It is very delicious.
Above all, I couldn't get tickets to the MLB season opener featuring Otani, who I'm a big fan of, but I opened a bottle of Hana-yosu in a festive mood while watching the game on TV!
