He is in the unique business of putting customers' names on sake labels. It might be good as a gift.

100% Chiba rice Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 17%. Date of production: June 25 First Chiba sake: ☺️ This is a super new sake that was just made yesterday✨. The first taste is koji, followed by sweetness and a lingering alcohol taste, which I personally experienced for the first time. I visited the brewery and the proprietress was very nice and let me try some tasting and I had a good time shopping 😉. It goes great with the local sesame pickles 😘. I didn't put it on the picture, but the fresh pickled pepper they were selling is also very tasty...!

The fourth one is Nechi-Osan. This is my first time to visit this brewery. I always thought it was "KONCHI". Sorry locals! The taste of rice is well expressed, but the overall taste is clean and dry. The aftertaste is a bit peculiar, but it is good in its own way. Thank you!

OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳ Lastly, we went to the Komatsuya booth again. Nechi from Nechiozan, which is not seen very often. There were many different rice varieties, but we chose the Koshitanrei 1st class rice 2020. Nechi is only available at authorized dealers. It was easy to drink with a beautiful taste and a hint of sweetness. The review of this event was a bit of a mess, so please refer to Nechi's post later on 🤣.

GW 4 days 3 nights with wife, 1,500km round trip🤣 We went on a Sanriku car trip 🙂. We stayed one night near Sendai and went to Sanriku. We had an ume (sea urchin) lunch box at Kuji station, and spent the second night in Miyako. Miyako's sake brewery, Hishiya Sake Brewery, Senryo Otokoyama. At home. This is the first time I've had sake from Hokkaido. I thought that Hokkaido's sake was more alcoholic, but it was completely different. You can feel the sweetness of the rice, and there is a bitter taste at the end. It is a refreshing type and very easy to drink. We received a lot of sake from Hokkaido, so we will try to taste and upload it little by little.

A Drink to Remember Series (5) In the early summer of 2015, I planned to take my car on a ferry to Wakkanai, Hokkaido, and when I arrived safely in Wakkanai, I had a drink at a yakitori restaurant for the first time in my life 🍶. The memory reminds me of the faint muscat-like aroma and sharp sharp sharpness 😋. Yamada-Nishiki 40% polished rice More modern label than the Nihonshin I drank at home 😁. It's gorgeous, but I felt it's more sake-like... The label is also modern and written in English, so I wonder if it's for export?

This one, like the Ko-Imari, was purchased when I was with Yoohee-san. The rice is Matsuyama Mitsui. It has a melon-like taste and a strong bitter taste like bitter melon.
