The 7th Matsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix ④ Islander sake brewery had a stall at "Sake World Summit in KYOTO" and we were curious about it. Since the system of multiple lines was not good for time performance, bouken and I changed to a sharing strategy. They had passion fruit, Kona coffee, and Junmai Daiginjo. ISLANDER SAKE Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-Genshu. It was a proper sake with a gentle acidity and a rather refreshing taste. It is a loose sake that is a little lacking in my opinion. The price is expensive, so I don't think I will buy it. ISLANDER SAKE Kona Coffee The color is a little brownish and it smells like coffee. I always drink my coffee black, so I thought it was very light coffee. I don't think I'll buy this one either. Here, I ran into the owner and manager of "Sake Bar Shinshiro," which I had visited with bouken-san before.

⭐︎ This year we received another sake brewed on the island of Hawaii. The taste is a jun-dai with a good balance of sweetness and acidity, deep aroma and very smooth on the palate. Thank you again for the delicious sake. 🙇‍♂️

⭐︎ Thanks for your comment, Pon: 🙇‍♂️ Islander is quite tasty. A Japanese man named Chiaki has started a brewery by himself. I think the water is also good.

Matsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix ④ islander sake brewery in Hawaii I had known about this sake for a while but could not afford it because of its high price. I took this opportunity to try it. Rutemi drank it a while ago 😁. I drank ● Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake It was made with KITASHIZUKU. It was quite a proper sake. It was moderately floral and had a good amount of sake flavor. The price is 7,700 yen and if you ask me if I would buy it, I would say 🤔. Kona Coffee Unfiltered Nama Sake Sake that was not on the distributed list. This was more interesting than the Jun Dai. There was also a fruity tropical sake, but I could imagine the taste and thought coffee would be more interesting, so I tasted this one. The rice is Kitashizuku and Calrose rice. Coffee beans soaked in sake? It tasted like fresh coffee beans! It had an atmosphere similar to the canned coffee called "Fresh Bean Blend" that Nescafe used to offer. I wonder if this is a liqueur or a craft saké, and how it would be classified?

Hello bouken 😃have you had a drink 😆. Junmai Daiginjo is definitely a delicious sake but expensive 🥹It tasted like Kona coffee, which is strange. This one was 5500 yen 😂.

⭐︎ ilander Junmai Daiginjo brewed on the Big Island of Hawaii. I licked it as being from Hawaii, but it's fantastic👍. It has a subtle brewing aroma, and sweetness comes first on the palate. The sweetness comes first, then a slight gasiness, then sourness, and then the sweetness goes away to become richness? It's delicious. The Jungin I had next was lighter, more acidic, and really refreshing. It seems to have been brewed since last year at a brewery attached to a restaurant called "islander sake".

Good evening, Duke Shibuya 🌇. I see there is a store 🏬 that carries this sake 😃. When I looked it up before, I had the impression that it was insanely expensive, but if I drank it in a restaurant, it would probably cost about 3 times as much as Jyushiyo, wouldn't it?

Calrose (USA) Junmai Ginjo The first sake brewery to be born in Hawaii in 33 years, established in 2049. The cap is made of glass! Too sweet, like pineapple, not sake... I won't drink it anymore!
