One we took on our Obon cemetery tour. It is the recently talked about Iraka (tiled roof). I was originally hesitant to buy it because it was a little expensive (4,180 yen for a 1,500 ml bottle), but I was in a summer vacation mood, so I bought it in a good mood. The silver/black one seems to be the base model of "Iraka". On the first day after opening the bottle, I couldn't taste any aroma, and the taste was too sour and bitter, so avant-garde that I couldn't find a single good thing about it. I thought, "This is expensive, but this is it! I thought to myself, "This is it for the price! It turned out to be a wonderful wine! A hint of fruitiness in the upper aroma. The first attack is pale and fruity, and the umami taste has also emerged. The acidity and bitterness, which were so strong, have become mild, and it finishes with a salty finish. Today's tiled roof. The representative brand "Iraka" brewed by the newest brewery in Japan, Iraka Sake Brewery, is named after a traditional Japanese architectural roof and the Northern Japan Alps as the roof of Japan. The brewery uses only "Hitogokochi" and "Kinmon-nishiki," specially grown rice without chemical fertilizers, grown in the same mineral water in Matsukawa Village, as brewing water. Tonight, our first series of this brand from Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. Okuroku Junmai Ginjo-shu Namahashime Unite 2023BY✨. The aroma is a mild, almost odorless barb 🌿 The taste has a pleasant acidity and sweetness on the attack, with a nice, nourishing umami flavor. The second half is quite sharp with a pungent alcohol taste lingering in the back of the throat. It was very perfect as a food wine 😋😋😋😋.

The aroma is mainly banana yogurt with floral nectar, greenish pear, acidity and alcohol, which I like very much. Hiroshima's Shinrai is my favorite brand. I remember how surprised I was when I drank it for the first time. I thought it would be a "Shinsei" sake with a wooden cask for sake making, but it is not at all. But it's not at all. The yeast is different, of course. It tastes delicious.
