Ayau Altair
Aroma: Vinegar iso + vinegar ethyl alcohol (banana and cemedine).
The mouthfeel is rather light and sweet (banana🍌).
But the sourness and alcohol taste comes in the middle! (I've chilled it quite a bit, but it's more than I expected!)
I might dare to try it at a higher temperature range. I have to see the difference! 🧐
Sairai is delicious.
The sake from Nagano, which I have been drinking a lot recently, has a similar taste, but I think Sairai is designed to have a more pronounced sourness.
From the appearance of the label, I imagined it to be a refreshing type, and it is. However, it also has a surprising sweetness, and the flavor spreads in a jwah-jwah manner. This is definitely a cold sake.
It goes better with simple things like grilled zucchini. It seems to go better with vegetables than fish or meat.
