I ordered a sweet treat at a restaurant that sells sake🍶.
It was a cute "daifuku" (rice cake) with "Daruma Masamune Aged 3 Years" in it. ‼️
The Daifuku is filled with ice cream like "Yukimi-dakkukushi" 🍨‼️
And when I had it with an old sake that somehow looked like "Shaoxing sake", two words came to my mind: "‼️".
Sake and sweets also go well together. (Personal opinion)

I had been aging it at home.
It has been less than 3 years and I couldn't wait to open it.
I had been looking forward to putting it away for a long time, but I was also worried about it, so I was relieved to find that it tasted just as good as the three-year aged one I received at the store.
It is sweet and mellow. It also has a flavor similar to that of Shaoxing wine.
I will wait at least another 2 years for another bottle.
The aroma is reminiscent of Shaoxing wine, but it is sweeter and less peculiar than Shaoxing wine. It would go well with sauce or dark chocolate. When served lukewarm, the aroma is less pronounced and lingers more on the tongue. Delicious✨

Hiyoroshi sake for old sake from Daruma Masamune before aging. I tried a bottle of Yongo and enjoyed it so much when lukewarm that I bought a bottle of Ichimasu. I thought it would last me through the winter.

It smells like young Shaoxing wine, has a musty, honeyed, sweet flavor. It has a sweet, honey-like flavor. It's great lukewarm, and goes well with Japanese food! Turns into an all-rounder that goes well with western meats!
