550 yen for 45ml at an underground corner shop in Hisaya-odori Central Park. Polishing ratio 50%. I tried this sake on Ojiro's recommendation. It has a slight dryness, but the main taste is sweetness and umami of rice. Highly recommended.

900 yen for 45ml at an underground corner bar in Hisaya-odori Central Park. (expensive! LOL) Polishing ratio 55 This sake is made by Sekiya Shuzo. It is said to be called Kuonji. I looked it up on the net but couldn't find anything lol It has a fruity acidity with a hint of sweetness and umami. It seems to be a very rare sake, but I would like to try it again if I come across it.

The third glass is a sake from Tsu, Kankoubai. It is a dry sake with a moderate sweetness that goes down easy 🍶. Saku and Jikin are the representative brands of Mie sake, but other sake are also high quality and delicious!

On a day trip to Nagoya, I went to a liquor store to have a corner drink. The first drink was Hyakujuro. I had an image of it being dry, but it was fresh, with a unique sourness and a melon-like fruity taste. 🙆‍♂️ It was a nice sake!
