Sashi-Drinking with Mr. Jaive④. Lastly, we ordered different drinks, so I exchanged mine for a shot of Imi Pink and tasted a little. It's been a long time since I've had Hana-yosu since I couldn't get it. It's my first time to drink premium. Thin and cloudy. It's like a pineapple, just like Hana-yosu. Sweet and juicy and so delicious 😋. Maybe it's because it's premium, or maybe it's because it's not as bitter or sweet as I once thought it would be, but it's exactly what I imagine Hana-yosu to be like. I like this kind of taste after all 😁. I was also interested in San San Aisan and Beian Daiguo Xue Zhong Zhuang, but I drank only pre-drinks today 😅. We parted ways with Jive at Namba station and headed home. The end

Sashi-Drinking with Mr. Jaive (2) I was surprised to see two Viridians on the menu, one of which was the first sparkling Viridian, and I asked for it because I thought it would be sold out since the regulars were drinking it one after another 😁. It's a relief drink for the Myanmar earthquake. I googled and didn't come up with much, but I guess it's not available yet 🤔. It looks like it was made when Mr. Uematsu was the chief brewer of the brewery. It has a Western-style aroma. It's a bit schwitty, but the Viridian-ness is there. But the Viridian I've had recently was sweeter, but this one is woody, and I thought it was a bit like the Viridian from a while ago.

One-day trip to Osaka ④🚃. So far, I ordered the same thing as [bouken], but from here on, we ordered different things 🎵. I ordered "Kahayo Yoku Premium", and bouken-san ordered "射美 Pink", and what came out was "射美 特純 15号"! I ordered "Hahoriyokyu THE PREMIUM Hachitan-Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo, Polishing 40%, Unfiltered Nama-shu". I had drunk it in the past, and this time, I reviewed the "Imi Pink" which I was given in exchange for a little bit of the "Imi Pink". ikumi tokun jun 15 Distinctive but indescribable aroma, clean sweetness on the palate. The taste is much easier to recognize than the black one. The "Huahiangyoku" has a sweet pineapple flavor that does not betray its Huahiangyoku-like character. 6300 yen for the two of us after drinking so much premium sake and ordering food. That's too cheap! After this, we went back to Namba station to say goodbye to bouken-san and went back to Umeda for shopping.

One-day trip to Osaka (3) While I was contemplating my next order, a regular customer ordered a Viridian, and the waiter asked if he could have one too. and I was served it. Shinsei Viridian, a humanitarian aid sake for the Myanmar Earthquake of 2025. A bottle of "Viridian" brewed with 2022 sake rice and aged for 2 years in the brewery. The aroma alone is intoxicating, with a fruity, mellow rice aroma, a strong gassy mouthfeel, a strong sweet acidity, a clean finish, and a pleasant aftertaste. It goes well with the aroma of cheddar cheese. This is a precious sake that I could drink.

One-day trip to Osaka (2) I met up with bouken-san, who had asked me to exchange sake at Namba's EDION, and we went to the sake corner, and then to Nikomaru Shuhan in Kouhama. To my surprise, I was able to get a bottle of "Sentoku" that I had been looking for, which had just arrived. I was also able to buy a bottle of Oita's "Hanashimi" 🎵. From there, I went back to Tennoji and had a drink at Tesho Sake 🍶. They had a lot of premium sake on tap during the GW period, and I was wondering which one to order, so I started with this one! Imi BLACK"! There was also a WHITE sake, but I chose this one because I have had it in the past! It has no characteristic aroma, a complex taste that can be taken as umami, sweetness, or sourness, and a bitter taste that lingers on the tongue after it finishes. Hmmm, it's hard to evaluate 🤔.

Sashi drinking with Mr. Jaive (1) Gyve and I exchange drinks when we meet at offline meetings, and he asked me if I would bring him some since he was going to Osaka. I was going to Osaka, so I asked him if he would like me to bring him some. After hanging out at the Edion liquor store, Gyve-san said he was going to Nikomaru Sake Brewery in Kouhama, Suminoe, so I decided to go with him 🚃. After that, we took the Hankai Line to Tennoji and went to Tesho Sake. I hadn't been there since last year with Nemuchi and Yasube! I've been wanting to go there since they opened a lot of rare sake during the GW 😍. First up was the first release in 10 years, Sagami BLACK! Not too sweet. Quite a complex taste. The second half is more astringent and bitter. I wondered what the complexity was, but it turns out that the rice polishing ratio was 80%. Maybe it's a bit on the dry side 🤔.

After work. A new product I wanted to try from Mimuro Cedar: 🙆‍♂️ A light, slightly bitter, complex drink. This is what Mimuro Sugi is all about 🤣. I couldn't make it to the Mimuro Sugi FES this month due to work, but as a fan, I'd love to go there someday 😂.

The second glass was a spring sake from Kurume's local brewery, Yamabusyu. It is not too sweet and has a light citrus flavor. 🙆‍♂️ The entrée was a pickled horse mackerel with a hint of spring, and it was delicious!

We had two types of Risshun morning pressed sake, which is not easy to drink when you are in Kansai at other places. The first was Daisetsukei. Fruity and sweet like an apple, with a slight gassy taste. It was delicious 👏👏.
