I bought Mikotsuru Yamanishiki because it was in the store, but I chose it because it was hot and I wanted to drink a dry summer sake to refresh my taste buds.
It was just as dry as the name "dry sake" suggests. The sweetness of the rice is also present. The sweetness turns to bitterness and remains in the mouth. It is best to drink it cold or on the rocks.
Among the sakes that claim to be super dry, this is a sake that you can enjoy dryness as expected.

I enjoy "With the sky after the rain" on a rainy night.
It has a refreshing acidity like lemon. It blows away the rain with its refreshing and clear taste. It has a bit of bitterness and is not light, so it is refreshing and drinkable.
It is definitely better on a hot day when it is cooled down and sipped, but it is not bad on a night like this.
I was going to buy something at the liquor store, but I had to work late and couldn't make it in time for closing time. I only had this one bottle in stock: ...... ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
This is a gorgeous fruity sake with a sweet and refreshing acidity that is too good to drink in this kind of weather. It has a gaseous feeling that makes it perfect to drink quickly when the weather is cool and refreshing.
However, it has a strong umami flavor and is not too light, so it would not be out of place in a damp season.
It also seems to have a long-lasting aftertaste on the palate.
I went to the liquor store today to buy the next batch of sake for tonight's drinking and was going to buy Honkin smooth, but I happened to get Honkin "Ameagari no Sora to" which is on sale today. The brewery said it was already sold out. Honkin, please do something about the fact that it is sold out so quickly these days. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
It has a heavy and robust taste. Delicious with sweetness and umami of rice 😊.
It has a slightly sour or bitter aftertaste, but the sake has a fierce impression that lives up to its name 🐂. It is more refreshing when cooled crisply. Mellow when warmed.
I rather like Kurogyu 😀.
The sake cups are trophies from the Mashiko pottery fair. I plan to get some Bizen ware this winter. The cosiness of drinking at home will get worse 😢. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Fresh acidity and fruity sweetness. It is floral and the fizzy feeling of lees makes it refreshing to drink.
The sweetness is there after you drink it, but it is also slightly fizzy and acidic, so you can drink it with a crisp mouthfeel.
It is a sake that goes well with spring weather. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Unlike the Daishinshu I've been drinking at bars lately, this one is rather dry and refreshing. It has a fruity taste, but the sweetness is moderate and a little crisp.
If you are expecting a sweet fruity Daishinshu, this may not be for you. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Aged sake for 26 years. The aroma is like an old sake, and it might be a harsh sake. It is rather refreshing and easy to drink.
Well, it is an aged sake, so there are different tastes including the aroma. I don't dislike it.
I'm going to enjoy it warmed up. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Happy New Year 🎍.
I hope to have a wonderful sake life this year as well, using your posts as a guide.
First of all, I aim to check in 1000❗.
I will start the first bottle of the New Year with Kudokibe, a New Year's Eve and New Year's tradition.
I think it is a little more acidic this year. It is a little more tangy than sweet. It seems to be more rounded if it is left for a while. There is a slight pungency, but the usual richness is there. I think it will probably be best after a few days, but since I opened a four-pack bottle quickly and easily, I'm done with just the freshness 😅. 熊谷 朋之Happy New Year, Gyaban!
Kudo-ta-jobu is very tasty, isn't it!
Please upload various updates this year, too. (I hope you will be able to enjoy the new year with us. ぎゃばんTomoyuki Kumagai, Happy New Year!
Kudo-tempered sake is always good no matter what you drink.
I look forward to working with you again this year 😊. おふじHappy New Year, Gyapan-san!
It's good to start off the New Year with a bang!
And good luck with check-in 1000! ポンちゃんGyaban, happy new year 🎍.
You opened the bottle just like you said! I'm glad we're drinking the same one 😊This Kudokitoe is delicious💕. ぎゃばんHappy New Year, Ofuji-san!
This is the reason why I refrain from drinking sake even if I see kudokidokiwari at a bar at the end of the year!
I'm glad you are enjoying drinking sake, Ofuji-san 😊.
I look forward to working with you again this year. ぎゃばんPon-chan-san I have been looking forward to this new year. It was a good start to the year with the same great taste as ever. ジェイ&ノビィHappy New Year, Gyaban 🌅 There's something nice about having a standard New Year's drink 😊 We know because we do it ourselves, but 1000 CI is a great number 😳! I'm looking forward to seeing what you achieve 👋 ぎゃばんHappy New Year, Jay & Nobby!
It's become a staple sake since the only time we get four-packs in stock is at the end of the year 😁.
1000th check-in, I think I'm going to pass it by drinking out and not paying particular attention... 😓. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
For New Year's Eve, we decided on Tedorigawa Daiginjo sake.
It is fresh and slightly tangy. It has the neatness of a daiginjo and not much sweetness.
I used freshly grated sake Masu that I bought on sale at a low price. The aroma of Kiso Hinoki (Japanese cypress) was stronger as soon as it was made into a mokkiri...
The neatness of the daiginjo is a wonderful taste of the hinoki cypress😅.
But it's still good as usual.
Well, I can still drink it, but what to do? Is this the closing sake? Maybe I'll open another one?
I'm mainly out drinking, so I can't get involved in a very timely manner, but I find your posts very helpful. Thank you very much for this year. I look forward to working with you again next year. えりりんGyaban-san konban-ha!
Let's have a delicious and enjoyable sake life next year 🎶.
Have a happy new year 🎍🐇. ぎゃばんMs. Eririn, good evening.
Thank you for your comment. I hope you enjoy a wonderful sake life, too.
Have a happy New Year! ポンちゃんHappy New Year to you, Gyaban 🎍 and I look forward to working with you in the new year ✨.
I always enjoy your many reviews! ぎゃばんHappy New Year, Pon-chan!
I look forward to working with you this year, too! ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
I grabbed this nigori sake from Nanasho when I was told it was 880 yen.
It has a thick tailing. It has a refreshing taste that is typical of sake with alcohol.
The smell is like a mild amazake (sweet sake) from the depths of the sake smell that is common in regular sake.
The sweetness of the tailings and the refreshing taste make it an easy-drinking sake. Compared to junmai and jungin sake, which cost about twice as much, this sake is just plain delicious.
-----------
It's time to stock up for the holiday season.
I have already secured a set of 3 bottles of Yokoyama and Manrei from the Furusato tax payment. I have already purchased 26-year aged sake at the nearest liquor store. I plan to buy Kudo Ute at a later date.
I would like to buy one more bottle, but the nearest liquor store has Gokotsuru Yamane Nishiki and Fuyutsuki, which I have not had for a while. I am also interested in Dewazakura Ichiro or Aizan, Tetorigawa Arabashiri, and Urakasumi or Oyama zodiac labels.
I am also interested in Toyoka's Junmai Daiginjo limited edition sake for 10,000 yen.
If I add the Matsumoto liquor store, I'll have a few more choices, but I'm not sure which one would be best 🤔. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
I bought this because I was a little curious about how Takaten brews Yamae Nishiki....
The sweetness spreads in the mouth, which is not unlike Takaten, and the character of Yamae Nishiki is strong.
However, the lingering sweetness is short-lived and disappears quickly, leaving behind a slightly bitter dryness that gives the impression of crispness, which is not the case with other Yamae-Nishiki, which tends to be more fruity.
The fact that it is not overly flamboyant is quite hateful.
Mie, you're good at what you do. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
I feel like it's been a while since I've had tamako. I've had summer tamako, but this is probably my first hiyaoroshi.
It's rather refreshing and slightly sharp.
It's light and easy to drink, but has a certain fullness to it.
It is delicious. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
The second bottle as I think I can drink a little more. It's a HONKIN hiyaoroshi.
It has a slightly pale impression. The light acidity is not massive, so the hiyaoroshi, or autumn maturity, is a bit lacking, but it is delicious as a refreshing sake. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Absolutely delicious Snow Kayasha. And one that will not disappoint.
It has the depth of hiyaoroshi, but also a clear and gorgeous sweetness. Not too assertive, so it goes well with a meal. I like this kind of thing 😀.

I went all the way to Hotaka (Azumino) to buy wasabi for this sake!
I have a dry image of Daisetsukei, but this one is sweeter and fruity, and it enhances the taste of the wasabi nicely!
There is a slight sharpness in the aftertaste, but the rounded sweetness spreads through the taste buds!
Wasabi and sake, the best marriage 🤩. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Slightly acidic and refreshing, with a full-bodied flavor. It is a delicious sake that is typical of Dewa Sanzan.
It is refreshing when served cold, and becomes fuller as it warms up.
It is a Yamagata sake that cannot be missed.

Cute bears. Sweet and slightly sour honey juice.
It's worth buying just for the cute bear, but I think it's also a good tasting dessert drink.
I don't remember drinking Kouzenjosui since I drank it at a club camp when I was a student (self-imposed restriction). ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
I found it to be well balanced in flavor, sweetness, and body. Personally, I like it very much.
It is a delicious sake that is easy to drink for its strength. I like it. ぎゃばん☆☆☆☆☆
Well, today, I got it safely? I got this gold SMOOTH.
Apple sweet and sour type.
Personally, I thought it was a little too acidic, but with its sweetness and freshness, I think it is a delicious sake that anyone can easily drink, just as the concept suggests. There is no sense of fizz.
I drank it while keeping it cool in a wine cooler, but I think it would be better to drink it more tightly chilled.
Honkin-san is good.

After a holiday trip to Hokkaido 🧚♂, I became Mr. 🧚♂ and drank for the first time in a long time. I chose the local sake Takaten and Emi Special.
Unlike the typical female master brewer's taste, the current master brewer seems to have retained the local Takaten flavor, for better or worse.
It also has a slight sweetness, but it is very dry. It has a slightly bitter taste and a clear sharpness.
It has a sense of body, but it is not too heavy and can be drunk easily. If served cold, it can be drunk crisply on a hot day and will not interfere with a meal. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
