I bought it at the MaxValu in front of Yamagata Station. The MaxValu there has a great selection of local sake and wine, and is like a sake-drinking paradise. The taste is sweet and sour. It tastes so good that you can't help but exclaim, "It's so good! I exclaimed. It is better to drink it as it is rather than to pair it with snacks. It would go better with mellow matured cheese than with something light and refreshing. It tastes as if it would be written as a sake for women on the menu of a sake specialty store.

JIRO
Yamagata Prefecture has a lot of good sake. Or rather, there is nothing but good sake everywhere in Tohoku. Since it was getting a little cold, I drank it at room temperature. It is a mild sake with a clean taste typical of the Tohoku region. When you finish it, you can smell the aroma. The moment it is swallowed, it has a slight sweetness from the rice, followed by a firm spiciness that spreads on the palate. There are almost no peculiarities. It seems to go well with anything, whether light or heavy, but when I paired it with takaimo (sweet potatoes), the bitterness stood out, so it may not go well with sweet foods.

Was it limited to Akita Prefecture? When served at room temperature, the rich rice sweetness spreads. The smell of alcohol is moderate. It may be better suited to accompany solid flavored snacks than light ones.

It is a 500ml bottle with a small capacity. The sweet aroma and the sweetness of the rice are well perceived and easy to drink neatly. As it approaches room temperature, a slight bitterness emerges. The impression is delicate and soft, not guttural.

JIRO
Limited to Akita Prefecture. Purchased at the local production center in front of Akita Station. Also available online👍. Berry-like sweet and sour, rich, with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. It is not the most royal sake, but it is very easy to drink and tastes great. I like it better when it is cooled down as the bitterness gets stronger as the temperature rises. I think it can be drunk with salt, but I also think it would make a great marriage with pickled vegetables such as Iburi Gakko (pickled ginger). I want to drink it again.

Very rich and flavorful. If you think it is spicy, it has a sweetness that makes it easy to drink. The ginjo aroma is subtle, and it goes well with strong snacks such as cheese and potato salad. This sake seems to be brewed by a toji in Noto, and we would like to drink it to pray for the recovery of the Hokuriku region.

A cup of sake with a cat pattern It has a dry and robust flavor that doesn't match its appearance and goes well with strong flavored stewed dishes. It would be good to drink it with dry food on the Shinkansen.

Sweet! Delicious! Full-bodied! Mellow! 20 degrees! This deliciousness and this degree of alcohol content. This is a gem to be enjoyed with Wakarimizu. This is a raw sake exclusively sold at Yuki Sake Brewery in Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture. It is so rich that you don't feel the alcohol, and you can drink it easily. It tastes best when well chilled. It is also good with ice.

Miyagi Prefecture's Ichinokura and Urakasumi teamed up to make a collaboration sake. It was supposed to be limited to Miyagi Prefecture, but for some reason it was sold in other prefectures as well (lol). I saved it carefully, but opened it before the taste deteriorated due to the hot weather. Well-balanced, clean, and very easy to drink! You can deeply feel the sweetness of the rice and the deliciousness of the water. The moderate acidity and sweetness spread in the mouth, and the aroma is nice, just like a standard sake. It goes very well with salt. Sake that ruins people... I know it's impossible, but I hope they make it a standard item.

Sake for daily use bought at MaxValu in front of Yamagata Station. I drink it at room temperature. The sweetness of the rice softly seeps in. The sweetness is offset by the lack of acidity, and the bitterness is moderate, giving it a gentle impression. It is delicious with a complex flavor. When it is cooled down, the sharp acidity rises and the sweetness disappears. When slightly cooled, it is sweet and sour and goes down smoothly. It is also delicious with a little water. Sake from the Tohoku region is dangerous. All of them are delicious.

Southern Alps is the third Junmai Ginjo in Yokouchi Shuzo Brewery's drinking set. It is a gorgeous sake. The aroma is light on the nose, but once in the mouth, a mild bitterness and a gorgeous fruity ginjo aroma fill the mouth. The taste is light and refreshing. It tastes like water. When the temperature is slightly cooled down from cold sake, it opens up and the sweetness of the rice becomes more pronounced. It is delicious. It is my favorite of the three.
