JIRO
A bottle introduced to me at a liquor store as "a sake like gin or vodka, but not like sake".
It is dry and light.
The moment it enters the mouth, it is sake, but the next moment it has a cool bitterness and spiciness that quickly disappears. The aftertaste is faintly sake.
The flavor of rice and koji is thin, and it is surprising that sake can be so refreshing.
As it approaches room temperature, the sweetness of the rice and the tangy spiciness emerge. It is recommended to drink it cold in summer, as it has a bitter, gin-like flavor when well chilled.
