It has been a while since I have posted from Atlanta, USA. Due to a change of location, I have decided to post about the local liquor situation. The brands are quite limited, but you can get them for about 2 to 3 times the price in Japan. It has been a long time since I drank sake, but it is indeed Otters.

Purchased at a local supermarket on a trip to Yamanashi in the midst of a typhoon that may or may not be coming. It is sharp and dry. It is a good sake for a meal. I enjoy it with grilled sea bream and sashimi.

Easy to drink sake! Dry and refreshing, with little feeling of being stuck on the tongue or throat. I enjoy it with sashimi, pickles, and fried octopus and squid. Good.

A summer-only product. It is dry and has a refreshing taste that goes through the nose. It is good with Japanese dishes such as sashimi, vegetable skewers, and stewed eggplant.

Clear and dry. The spiciness stands out with little peculiarity. Personally, I like the flavor of rice? I personally prefer a little more rice flavor or sweetness. I would prefer a little more rice flavor or sweetness, but it is a sake that goes down well as a food sake. I enjoyed it with sashimi and other Japanese dishes.

Unusual selection of seasonal items. The package is good. The mouthfeel is appropriate for the Mutsu Hachisen lineage. Personally, I like this sake as a food sake.

Too easy to drink, I drank too much! A little spicy and refreshing. It should be good for those who like Mutsu Hachisen and Kido. I enjoyed it with seafood tempura such as sea bream, and it was the best match!

On a trip to Nagano, I bought this sake at the famous TSURUYA supermarket! It is labeled as a dry sake, but it is a very rich sake. I personally thought it was a little too rich for a food sake! It would be a perfect match with pickles at the beginning of a meal, or with Nozawana (a vegetable dish in Nagano).

This dish was given to me at a hotel in Nagano, Japan. It is a dry wine that can be used for a wide range of buffet style dinner menus. It was served in an all-you-can-drink wine glass, and we had about 4 glasses. I drank too much.
