We reserved this bottle because it was an unfiltered Otter Tankoba Kumi. I was told that blue cheese would go well with the past pairings of vatoba-kumi, so I prepared blue cheese as well. For a beginner, I found the pairing with hon tuna to be very tasty. It was clean and very easy to drink with a fruity aroma.

This sake was a gift from Fukushima. I was told that lukewarm heating was recommended, so I microwaved the chilled sake and tasted it hot and then lukewarm. The unique aroma of the sake was so pleasant to the nose. I felt it was easier for beginners to drink lukewarm than hot.
