It was recommended to me by a friend of mine.
It seemed to have dry and sweet tastes together.
I had it cold, but it could also be served hot.
It is very tasty.
An acquaintance gave it to me as a gift from Matsushima!
It is a traditional dry sake and seems to go well with sashimi and grilled fish. I had it with octopus and scallop ahi jus and it was delicious!
I bought this sake after the staff at the liquor store recommended it to me as a food sake. It's very tasty, with a great spread of umami on the palate! Although it is labeled "very dry," it is not spicy, and the aftertaste is as refreshing as water. It is heavy with a tangy slight carbonation and a small amount of fruitiness, great as a mid-meal drink or on its own!
Naraman Junmai Daiginjo! I have been curious about it for a while. It is dry with a clean aftertaste and goes well with strong flavored foods!
It also seems to be recommended to be heated, so next time I would like to enjoy it hot.
This sake is from Tendo City in Yamagata, famous for its Shogi pieces! It's not overpowering, but it's rich and dry, making it a great sake to drink while eating! There is nothing wrong with special junmai!
I was curious and bought this at my usual liquor store. I've had non-nama-shu ikeban that tasted great hot, but this one tastes great cold or hot. It's like a mellowed down version of a regular Ikarashi.
This sake was recommended to me by an acquaintance. It's a little dry and has a strong taste, very tasty ^^ I drink it with fried eggplant, it's also great as a food sake.
I'm adding this because I drank it before and didn't post it. It was so good that it was gone in two days lol. Fukushima has a lot of good Junmai sake like Hirotogawa and Sharaku.
It was recommended to me by an acquaintance. At first, I was not used to sake, so I felt that it was very dry, but after I opened it and left it for a week, the taste changed and it was very delicious. The dryness is still there, but the mouthfeel has mellowed. I think it goes well with foods with strong flavors.
