Fruity
Lightly fragrant with a hint of pineapple.
Light sweetness, followed by a touch of heaviness and bitterness.
Bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
IGOMA October Tasting ④.
First time drinking Honshu Ichi no Aki-agari.
It tasted clean, sweet, spicy, and gentle.
I think it may be because it was the first sake I tasted in autumn, but I got the impression that it was more mature than the other Honzuichi sake I have tasted so far.
I didn't take a picture of it, but I also drank a bottle of Yamahai sake.
It was a fire-aged version of the nama sake I bought at the August tasting.
It was more subdued than the nama, but just like the nama, it had a strong umami flavor and was delicious!
Purchased at a supermarket in Hiroshima station on a business trip. Only on the label, it is listed as either Honshu Ichiban or Honshu Ichiban, which is a mystery as to which is more accurate 😄.
It has a strong, fruity, melon-like flavor, as is typical of the original sake. The smooth mouthfeel and clear structure are excellent.
It gets a little tiring as you keep drinking it.
Aroma is faint.
When you drink it, it has a mojito green color for a moment.
The nose has a slight minerality and a slightly full-bodied rice flavor.
Moderately rounded acidity.
It has a strong, spicy flavor.
3/5 for my favorite.
Not the best in Honshu, but the best in Honshu.
Honshu Ichi's first Yamahai brewing.
They let it sit in the brewery for a year.
Polishing ratio is undisclosed.
It has a beautiful flavor with a hint of sweetness and fruity taste. Although it is Yamahai, it is very refreshing and tastes better than when we drank it at the tasting.
When the temperature rises, you can feel its strength.
