I was recommended this sake lukewarm at a restaurant in Kyoto a few years ago 🤔 Since then, I've been in love with it and went to the brewery to get some 👍🏻 when I went back to Japan in March. I tried it lukewarm and it's just as it says on the label, dense and refreshing ✨ and the next day I tried it cold and it's just as good ⤴️. Please give it a try 🥹!

My wife procured it from Isetan ✋🏻 It was indeed really spicy 😵. This brewery has become one of the leading breweries in Ishikawa, and they have become very good at business as well 🤪.

I picked it up on my return trip to Kyoto last month thinking it was an unusual label ✋🏻 I was right with its gorgeous spring-like aroma and clean taste✨. This brewery keeps getting it right⤴️.

It's a brand I've missed ✋🏻 It's what we call a regular sake, but it's robust and I could taste the rice flavor⤴️. I got it for a cheap price, so I have no complaints about this bottle 👍🏻.

I got a call that Nishi no Seki has a winter limited edition sake, so I got it as a souvenir from Oita ✋🏻. It's sweet, but I like it for its indescribable umami flavor⤴️ I️ have to drink everything but dry, I shouldn't hate myself for not drinking 😵.

Next is a brand I don't know at all ⤴️ I thought it would be more sharp than the sake I had earlier 🤔 I've heard a lot about Nara sake lately, but when I was younger I only knew Harushika 😅. After this we enjoyed a lukewarm bottle of Matsumoto☺️.

Last night in Kyoto became a difficult restaurant to book ⤴️ We were excited to visit and it was as good as its reputation ✨. I chose this one because my hometown only has Matsumoto, but I didn't find it aromatic and gorgeous 😑 It's a pretty label, so I'm sure Michi would be disappointed 😵.

Next was a great sake from Yamagata, but one I had never heard of 🤔 I found it a bit bland for the rice polishing 😑 I'll enjoy the local sake from today on ✨. Also, I'm off to procure a bottle of the one I've been pining for👍🏻.

I made a reservation at a famous liquor store to procure ✋🏻 It's called light nigori, but I think it's almost clear 👀. It had a fine fizziness and a gorgeous spring-like feel to it ✨ yet it was still very drinkable 🤔 Incoherent 😵.

This is the last bottle I brewed in Niigata✋🏻 Yoshinogawa is a so-called light, dry wine, but this one had a strong alcohol taste🤔. So I enjoyed it with nabemono ⤴️.

Another Izu souvenir is a famous sake from Numazu ✨ I've enjoyed it before at a full lineup store and it's my favorite brand ✋🏻. I enjoyed it heated and cold, but I think it's a solid, heavy sake, so I prefer it heated 🤨. I'll try to procure a ginjo type next time ✌🏻.

This is one of the bottles from Niigata that I stocked up on during my trip last fall✋🏻 Even though it's a local sake, it's still a major sake, so I was a bit hesitant, but it's exactly what the label says it is, and I like it ⤴️.

I travel from Minami-Izu to Numazu every year around this time 🚙 After having dinner with the owner of a boutique near Numazu station, I stopped by a liquor store to pick up a bottle✋🏻. It's very smooth and easy to drink, and goes well with all kinds of food. It's a famous brand, but it's a reasonable bottle ⤴️.

I brought some sake from Sakata last fall to a New Year's party at a friend's house✋🏻. After a light snack of Obushi, we had a Shabu Shabu with meat from Moriya Shoten in Kobe ⤴️The same as last year, but the meat here is gentle and delicious❤️. And the sake was really spicy🙆️!

I had to go to a familiar liquor store to procure some, and over the weekend I got to drink with a former colleague for the first time in a long time✋🏻 Well, to my surprise, it was the same sake he gave me as a souvenir 👀 ⤴️ as recommended by his son who works part-time in a restaurant. It's a bit heavy for this brewery, but you can really smell the rice 🤔. I'll keep the other bottle for the New Year👍🏻.

On my trip to Sakata and Niigata, I stopped by a liquor store in front of Niigata station✋🏻 hmm👀I wondered if they had a clear bottle of Senju?　I asked the clerk and he said they've been serving it for a couple of years. And the taste is so good that you can say this is Niigata sake✨. I thought it was limited to the region, but when I went back to my favorite liquor store, they had it 😅.
