It is a summer sake, so it is refreshing. The etiquette of the goldfish is cool. If you drink it right out of the refrigerator, it's too refreshing, like water. It is not enough to drink with a meal. After pouring it into a glass for a while, when the temperature rises, the flavor comes out and it is good. Still, it has a refreshing taste typical of summer sake.

I got Gohyakumangoku before, but this time I got Miyamanishiki. At first, it is tangy on the tip of the tongue, and then the dark rice flavor and melon-like aroma spread. I prefer Miyamanishiki to Gohyakumangoku.

It's good. I'm sure it's good, but... I used to like it, but... I feel like it's too honorable and lacks personality. When you pair it with shabu-shabu, it's not bad. It's not bad, but it's a safe marriage. If this is the case, I think it would be better to use a more reasonable sake with more character, such as Urakasumi or Drunken Whale.

Rice polishing ratio 80%, the highest ever (no rice grinding to) Amber in color and simple in taste. I learned that this is what natural sake is. It was a good learning experience. I don't think I'll drink it on a regular basis.

As expected of Jyushiro, the flavor is amazing! The moment you put it in your mouth, you can feel the tangy acidity. I paired it with Ebomaki, but it didn't interfere with the meal. This time, I won the lottery of Aono Shoten and bought it online. What a fixed price! I haven't bought sake from anyone other than Aono Shoten in half a year! Aono Shoten is the best!

Excuse my comment 🙇♀ When I drink sake, I peel off the label and bind it in a file as a memento 😊. If it's a 14yo, why not save the label as a memento? You can find instructions on You Tube on how to remove the label.

I tried Lapis after the Ecru I had last month. I like this one better. The taste is rich, but it's slightly fizzy, so it's refreshing to drink. They make an interesting sake.

Lightly carbonated, it goes well with any meal. Teriyaki chicken and shishiri carrots, both of which go well with each other👍 The bird teriyaki was nicely done with crispy skin! Good food and good booze 😄.
