This is the sixth brewery in the Saku Sake Brewery series.
Located in a historic townscape along the old Nakasendo road, this is a place I would like to visit next time.
The taste is very strong as it is called "mellow" sake. It is 18% alcohol by volume. It has a bitter taste on the tip of the tongue, followed by a sweet sake-like flavor.
I heard that there is a way to enjoy it by aging it after buying it. Next time, I'll let it mature a bit and try it with mizutaki in winter.
