This is Kido's Mujyuzan, which won Champion Sake at the International Wine Challenge 2020, made from Yamada Nishiki. I bought it to clear the amount to buy Shinsei at my local liquor store. Right after opening the bottle, it seemed too dense, but after a few days, it seems to have become milder...easy to drink and delicious.
Due to some lax inventory management, I ended up buying a second bottle of Trial Sunburst! It's the last day of the holidays and I figured it would be delivered again, so I was happy to open the bottle😊.
Kouyougiku doesn't ship in the middle of summer, but I requested a summery sake and they made it happen. It's really refreshing and delicious...just like lemon squash. The regular version was also delicious, but it was quite sour, like a wine. I accidentally bought a second bottle, and it was the right decision! I really hope they make it again next year!
I've never had sake from Saitama before, and I bought this unfiltered, unpasteurized sake at a local liquor store, thinking it must be delicious. I was not disappointed, it is a delicious sake. It has that gassy feeling that I love, and it's relatively sweet. It's easy to drink, so I've been sipping on it. Even though it was delicious, it was only 1,450 yen (excluding tax), so I'm thinking of trying the other types as well😊.
I was attracted by the name "True Red", so I just bought it. It is a Junmai Daiginjo Omachi 50 from the Occasional series, which focuses on unfiltered original sake. It is fresh but has a rich sweetness. It's thick but easy to drink, and you can drink more and more of it. It's a delicious and dangerous kind of sake♪
This is the second bottle of KOUEIGIKU's Omachi that I bought when I found it on sale. I've been saving too much Koeigiku and it's been piling up in the fridge, so I opened it up.
The taste may change as time passes after opening the bottle, but I drank almost all of it on the second day after opening the bottle! It has a good balance of sweetness and umami, and is just delicious.
Our stock is decreasing, and we only have Hououmida and Kouyoukiku left. So, after much deliberation, we opened a bottle of Hououmita's Daichi! It is a Junmai Daiginjo of Omachi. Naturally, there is no reason why it shouldn't be delicious! It's full of flavor and delicious!
Sensuke is one of my favorite brands, and I bought it as an add-on when I bought Kougei Kiku (Snow Crescent). I hadn't had Sensuke in a while, but it was very gassy, fresh, and sweet.
I finally opened up a bottle of Anastasia Green that had been sitting in our fridge for a few months because I didn't want to waste it! It's refreshing and easy to drink. It's low in alcohol, but you can feel the alcohol. You can't go wrong with Kouryugiku! It's delicious!
As always, it's the product of choice when I buy honour chrysanthemums. It's sweet, but not too sweet, and easy to drink. I've read some comments that it's got a nice balance of sour and sweet, but I like vinegary stuff, so I personally don't find it too sour! Sweet and delicious!
I wanted to try it once, and although I just bought it, I opened a bottle right away. The sake rice is Yamadanishiki, and the polishing ratio is 45%, so it's probably Junmai Daiginjo class. It's refreshing, but you can also taste the sweetness. It is well balanced and delicious. I'd like to try the other W's too!
I bought SNOW CRESCENT from Kouryugiku, so I opened Sunburst. It seems to be a very sour sake, but I like sour things, so I don't mind it at all. The sweetness is moderate, and it's slightly fizzy and delicious.
Mio, early good morning to you 😃.
Sunburst has a really nice spread of flavors from the tartness~! Snokle is also different deliciousness...looking forward to it 😊.
Maa., thanks for your comment 😊.
I really liked the SNOW CRESCENT I had last fall, and I've been wanting to buy it again, but everywhere was sold out and I finally got it! I'm looking forward to it.Â
It was a made-to-order Nikko, an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake from my favorite Hououmita, so I pre-ordered it and bought it. It's been sitting in our fridge for a while, but our stock of sake is getting low, so we decided to drink it this weekend.Â
This sake is made with water from Nikko's water source and Tochigi's sake rice, Yume Sarara. It's fruity, sweet and delicious. Really, Hououmita is so easy to drink, you can't go wrong!
It was written that it should be consumed as soon as possible, so I opened the Arashiri Oshikiri Merger from among the stock of Hououmita.
It is the second day of opening the bottle. I don't know the difference between yesterday and today, but it is delicious. There is nothing wrong with Hououmita.
As always... these are the items we choose when we buy Koyogiku. I give the highest priority to unfiltered undiluted sake, and unfiltered undiluted sake never fails to please! It's delicious again.
It's a Junmai Daiginjo, but it's not too sweet, and it's refreshing to drink! It's a Junmai Daiginjo, but it's not too sweet and has a refreshing taste.
I was wondering what to drink first, as I have a lot of Hououmita in the bottle, and I thought it might not be a good idea to sleep on new sake, so I opened the first bottle.
Since it's Hououmida, it's of course easy to drink and delicious, but is it too refreshing? It's the first sibori, so maybe I should have drunk it earlier? Because it is new sake, it has a refreshing aftertaste, and it is a green or fresh sake.
I've been wanting to try some of those Kou apples 🍎! I found it and bought it immediately. I was wondering why apples? It seems to be because it is a junmai ginjo sake using a yeast that produces a lot of malic acid. It is delicious with a good balance of sourness and sweetness.
Malic acid is found in white wine, so maybe that's why it's really sake? It is a sake.
It's easy to drink, so you can gulp it down! Danger!
So, on the last day of GW, I opened a bottle of Shuho, which was part of the Koei Kiku set! I'm from Yamagata, but I don't know this sake because it doesn't have a commercial.
I opened it without much expectation of what kind of sake it was, but it was fruity and delicious. It's easy to drink, and it's rather my favorite sake! I need to drink more of the local Yamagata sake!
It arrived today. My refrigerator is full of my favorite Hououmida and Kouyoukiku, so I opened the Chiebijin that just arrived.
It's the first time in a long time that I've had origarami, and it's slightly sour and tangy. It's hard to fill in the map of Japan, but this was my first Oita sake!
With Sunburst arriving over the weekend and it being the first day of GW, I opened up some Hakugetsu! I'm a bit of a tastemaker, but unusually, I found the Hakugetsu to be far from lactic. I knew I liked Kougei Kiku very much, it's delicious!
Good evening, Mio! 😄.
You went to Hakugetsu on the first day of GW~! 😆 I had the lactic acid yogurt taste too. I can't stop 😋 I'm honored chrysanthemum can't stop 👍.
Hi Mio, good evening 😃🌃
My fridge is stocked with Gekko, Dusk Orange, and White Moon, and I'm planning to pre-order Sunburst tomorrow 😆 I'm too lazy to drink it lol I'll look forward to Mio's review 😊.
Thanks for your comment 😊.
My stock of Kouei Chrysanthemums is down to just Anastasia Green and Sunburst which arrives tomorrow, so I'm looking for somewhere else to buy them again.
I'm going to try Twilight Orange again!
