I had never had Oita sake before, so I bought it.
It was a refreshing and easy to drink sake. Personally, I imagined it to be a bit more dry, but it wasn't that bad.
One of the bottles I bought in bulk for the New Year's holiday.
I couldn't resist the temptation and opened it.
It is a clear nigori sake with a slight effervescence, and I couldn't get enough of it.
This bottle was recommended to me by a local liquor store when I visited Miyazaki Prefecture.
It was the first time I had heard of this brand, which is not distributed outside of Miyazaki Prefecture, but when I tried it, it was very tasty.
I've been drinking sake, but haven't been able to post anything at all, so here's a roundup of what I've been drinking.
I drank Sentori Sakura in the spring.
Personally, I love Sentori, and I buy as much as I can when it comes out each season.
I know it's a little late, but for my New Year's sake, I decided to go with my favorite, Tasake. Needless to say, it is delicious.
I'm looking forward to meeting more good sake in the coming year!
Happy New Year!
Here is the end of sake and the beginning of sake for the New Year's holidays. It's not easy to find, but I happened to find this one at a liquor store and stocked it for the New Year's holidays.
Slightly fizzy, sweet from the koji, and just crisp on the palate, it was a great sake.
I'd be grateful if it was a little easier to find lol.
But I got to drink some good sake, and I'm sure I'll find some good sake this year.
This sake is made by the young people at Takasago Shuzo, and is only available in Hokkaido.
Maybe it's because of that description, but it was a nice sake that had a bit of a rough feel to it, but had a lot of oomph and could be drunk smoothly.
I hope they continue to brew brand new sake in the future!
As it's the end of the year, I thought I'd post some of the drinks I've had recently before the new year.
It was my first time to drink this brand, but I enjoyed it very much!
I found Maruta at a nearby liquor store.
I'm from Hokkaido, so I tend to buy local sake when I can find it.
It tasted great, even if you don't think it's local or anything.
I've had this brand a few times, but this was the first time I'd designed a beautiful sake.
It's sophisticated and easy to drink. And quite sweet.
It was very tasty, and I finished the four-pack in one day!
Sake from my hometown, Hokkaido.
When I was in Hokkaido, I used to go to the sake brewery's shop to buy it.
It's been a while since I drank it, but it's still as delicious as ever.
Please try Kunimare when you drink sake from Hokkaido!
It's late here too, but this is a record of autumn sake.
When I looked up when I drank Drunken Whale before, I found that I drank it in spring last time.
The seasons come and go in the blink of an eye, and we enjoy our sake with a sincere heart.
I know it's a little early, but what should I make for the year-end and New Year's sake?
I need to start thinking about it soon!
