I was watching 📺 "The Art of Weekend Travel" on Amazon Prime Video and I wanted to drink... I opened a new sake. This time it's from Mie Prefecture. I poured it into a cup instead of the usual sake cup. I poured it like a bar owner. (I wanted to try it 😅) I think it was a little over 1 gou? The aroma is melon? It tastes like grapes. Arisa Mizuki is beautiful 😊.

It's been a while since I've had a drink at home. Today I bought Shikishima from Handa. This is my first Shikishima. It has a little acidity in the mouth and a nice aroma as it goes down your throat😋. Delicious!

There was no 🍺friendship party in Kanayama this month, so my junior colleague and I came to Kanayama transit. Today's Happy Friday was a sake from Mie Prefecture. It was a summer ginjo, but a little fruity and delicious 😊.

On May 3, I went to the annual? I went to Nakajima Brewery's annual brewery open house (Spring Party 2024) on May 3. The tasting room was changed this year. Compared to last year, there were many more kinds of tastings and we tried many different kinds of sake. I opened a bottle of sake I bought from the limited sale. It is very fruity & shwashy, my favorite.

I bought this Shiraoi at the Plum Festival. I had never seen the label before, but it was a collaboration with a Chinese restaurant in Chita City, and it is apparently only available in stores and through tax payment. It tastes better lukewarm than cold. It also has a nice aroma.

I opened a bottle of Houraisen that my daughter-in-law gave me for my birthday. Immediately after opening the package, I could smell the sweet and delicious aroma... I made a pickle of the yellow chestnut which I bought at the sake brewery of Sawada Sake Brewery.

Last Sunday, I went to the "Horoinohi Nosume" held at the Ume no Yakata in Saburi. The plum blossoms were almost finished, but I went to compare sake from Chita sake breweries and bought a bottle of Shiraoi sake to take home. I bought some Shiraoi sake and had it lukewarm. Heating sake is also good.

I opened a bottle of sake that I bought at the liquor store next to the inn in Bessho Onsen. This is my first time at Yamazan Sake Brewery 😊. It's just a little bit shwashy. Ueda's sake is delicious!

Last weekend, I had a glass of freshly brewed sake that I bought at Sawada Sake Brewery's sake brewery open house. I served it with a konjak I received as a birthday present... It is very fruity. Melon? Banana? I drank it at the sake brewery opening, but I don't remember it being this fruity. I wonder if the konjak enhances the fruity flavor of the sake. Be careful not to drink too much. Why is the label on the sake? It's tilted😅

Tonight I am at a ryokan in Bessho Onsen. I opened a bottle of active nigori sake that I bought at Tsuruya in my room. It's nice and tangy! The liquor store next door to the inn? Or a souvenir shop? I bought some sake at the souvenir shop next door to the inn, so I will report back!
