Sake for two days in a row
Sake called "Yu" from Fukui!
As it says "mellow and dry", it was a good sake, with a taste and a dry aftertaste!
It went well with the hegisoba I bought on my way home from skiing the other day. ☺️
Hometown Series
This one is also dry, but with a dry aftertaste rather than a royal dry taste.
It's been a while since I drank alone at home, but I like it that way 😌.
Long time no post, home drinking
Souvenir from a business trip to Gifu 🍶.
I'd like to buy some more if I go on a business trip again.
It was snowing heavily today. I was a little excited because I was at home and there was no traffic damage. ☺️
At a New Year's party with friends.
I got the impression that it was refreshing and easy to drink with a little aroma 🍶.
I've gained a lot of weight recently, so I'm trying to cut back on drinking.
I don't want to slow down the pace of sake.
Since I ordered sashimi, I asked for a slightly crisp sake and this was recommended to me, so I ordered this one!
It was refreshing and aromatic, and went well with the sashimi.
First time in the New Year, we bumped into our favorite udon restaurant in Hanakin.
After getting hot and spicy udon for the first time in a long time, I ordered
Shockingly bananas. It was more bananas than I expected and it was such a **** (self-restraint). LOL.
It was just the right drink for my spicy mouth 🍌.
Happy New Year 🌅.
I am looking forward to drinking sake again this year!
The first drink of the new year was a sake called "Hatsuson" that I gave to my parents as a gift to celebrate the birth of their first grandchild last year!
It's a pretty dry sake and goes well with sashimi!
A light and dry sake typical of Niigata.
It was a delicious sake to go with sashimi and yakitori!
To close out the year, perhaps too much hope is a bad thing, but I wish you a better next year!
Thank you for 2022😊.
Best wishes for 2023!
2022 Work Finish Series (3)
Limited edition Daishinshu. At first, I wanted a dry sake, so I tried to drink a regular Daishinshu, but the waiter told me about it, and I switched to the limited edition.
I was told that it was a limited edition because the toji (master brewer) even bottles it!
He told us that normally they make ginjo and then daiginjo, but here they make daiginjo first and then ginjo, so this limited edition sake was almost a daiginjo, which was a good deal!
It was dry and went well with the karasumi ☺️.
2022 Work Finish Series (2)
Ordered this because it was recommended at Sake-no-wa.
I mentioned to the waitress that I had started sakéwa and she gave me the trivia that the packaging had changed☺️.
The aroma of this one is gorgeous and easy to drink!
I had it with karaisumi for the first time in my life!
2022 Finishing work series (1)
At the end of the workday, I went to my favorite udon restaurant to reward myself.
I ordered a bottle of Kuroryu sake, which is only available at restaurants.
Sake with udon really is the best!
It was a little spicy and dry. Maybe something a little stronger in flavor would have been better suited to the udon.
It's also fun to not know until you drink it 🍶.
Souvenirs from a trip to Ise
We drank it while watching the World Cup 2022 final.
This sake had a gorgeous aroma and was delicious chilled. It's good if you like aroma.
Messi and Embape were awesome ⚽️.
Accompanying a trip to Ise at a hot spring ryokan.
Very easy to drink sake. It feels like it has no habits at all.
It is just a gentle sake.
Even people who don't like sake can easily drink it.
When I noticed it, it was gone ☺️.
At home 🍶.
A souvenir from my business trip to Gifu. This was my second time drinking it, but the last time I was on a business trip and drank it from a hotel cup, so I felt it tasted a little better this time!
It was a dry sake, right in the middle of the range, and it was delicious!
I drank it yesterday after finishing all the work that was due by the end of the year. I'm almost done for the year. I'm going to do my best 💪.
Nabe Pa for home drinking 🍶.
A return gift donated to my mother's hometown by Furusato Tax.
Light, refreshing sake with a slight aroma.
I tried to drink it hot at first, but it was better cold or room temperature. Oni no Kiri no Kiri is very good 🔥.
I went to an izakaya (Japanese style bar) with a junior colleague. We were told that they serve hegisoba (buckwheat noodles), so we also had some sake (though not from Niigata).
My junior requested a sweet sake and I wanted to try a sake that was new to me, so we chose a sake from the Tohoku region and it was dry (sorry junior!).
Personally, I liked the sake because it was dry with a good amount of mellowness 😊.
