As I was going to celebrate my 500th check-in at a ski lodge, I found a good one at the Hasegawa Sake Shop in Tokyo Station.
There were two kinds, and I bought this one which was cuter than the other one with the number 🐰.
I bought it thinking it was a pine tree in Atago, which is charming😅.
This one costs 2321 yen for 300ml.
A price I don't want to convert to a bottle 😅.
It's sweet and delicious 💕.
I was surprised that the rice was not fully polished like Junmai Daiginjo, but I could taste the flavor of the rice. I thought it would be better to drink it little by little, so I had a small sip before dinner.
It is 300ml, so even though I drank it in small sips, it was gone in no time.
After that, I went to battle with my liver (laugh).

Since the weather was going to be bad, and I was feeling like sleeping at the inn if I was sleepy, I decided to take the "Karuizawa Resort" train, a toll rapid train that runs once a day from Karuizawa to Myoko Plateau. Because it costs 500 yen for a limited express ticket no matter where you take it from, you want to ride it the longest distance (laugh).
I have to leave home early, so drinking the day before is dangerous.
Karuizawa from Tokyo is a short drive, so breakfast 🥯 and coffee☕️.
Now, here's the sake I've been longing for. After drinking a craft beer that is only sold in the vicinity of Karuizawa (giggle), here it is.
I'm running out of letters left, but it's sweet and tasty, and very tasty at room temperature 💖.

The rice used was something from Miyagi Prefecture. (One theory is that it's Kura no Hana.)
It's refreshing.
The taste is not similar, but it's similar to the fruit flavor of Irohasu.
It tastes slightly fruity and moderately sweet.
You can drink it for a long time without getting tired of it, and you can drink it like water. It's light but the flavor comes through.
As the temperature rises, the bitterness becomes a little stronger, but it disappears quickly because it's crisp.
It's a drink that deserves to be called the ultimate foodie drink.
