Shimane Prefecture's Antenna Shop
I found the Grim Reaper at "Hibiya Shimane-kan" 😱.
I made love to him
I made love to him
The color is amber 🥃😳
The smell is like Shaoxing wine!
I was afraid to taste it.
It has a full-bodied sweet and savory taste.
It's still like Shaoxing wine!
It has a unique taste, but it is surprisingly easy to drink
But it is surprisingly easy to drink 😊.
We were just in the middle of a stamp rally
Stamp rally was being held at the antenna shop.
I collected stamps 😆.
I collected stamps
Lunch🍴 at "dining gallery Ginza no Kanazawa" which was in the guide book.

Noto Chicken Tsukune with Jibe-ni ✨.
It was delicious 😋!
At the antenna store of each prefecture
We also bought sweets and seasonings 😊😊.
Yu🎶, good evening 🌙
Scary stuff, I know exactly what you mean... the label and the color of the sake matches too much 😱.
The gap between stamp rally and lunch 😆You went a lot 🎶Lunch is wonderful✨.
Yu🎶-chan, konbanhā!
Did you drink the Reaper?
I think it was too hard for me and I got advice from everyone.
This is a challenge 😁.
The food looks lovely and delicious.
Pon-chan, good evening 🌙
The label and the color of the sake is scary but it was easy to drink 😁 doesn't the stamp rally make you want to collect them 😆 I'm going to collect them around Nihonbashi too ✊😊.
I'll be stamping in Shiga prefecture too 😉💕.
Good evening, Chichi.
It has a unique taste with a sense of maturity. ☺️I saw it at Sake no Wa and was curious about it, so I'm glad I got to drink it😊I enjoyed learning about the origin of the naming and watching the rakugo story "Shinigami" (the god of death).
Erin, good evening 🌙
You drank it too 😉 It's a small bottle of 180ml so I drank it all up 😁I wonder if it grew on you? I'll be back soon as many of the restaurants in the antenna store serve local sake 😆 ❣️
Ace, good evening 🌙
I had seen this sake with an impactful name several times at Sake no Wa, so the moment I found it, I thought "I met the Grim Reaper" 😱I was taking him home with me to see if he was possessed by the Grim Reaper 🤣.
Good evening, ymdaz!
I think that when people see the Shinigami label, they can't help but buy it 😉 180ml is 440 yen, so why don't you give it a try? 😁I would like to meet Jun Dai's Ura Shinigami as it seems to be easy to drink 😊.
It is still January and the New Year, but the sake has an unlucky name. There is no information about it except that it is a junmai sake.
First, it was served at room temperature.
As expected, there is an aroma of aging, but it does not have a strong medicinal smell.
In the mouth, it has an umami of rice (not too strong), followed by a sweetness like mirin (sweet sake), and then a slightly bitter taste that finishes with a sharp taste.
When heated, the higher the temperature, the more the acidity takes over. 40℃ is good for the sweetness, while at 50℃, the bitterness and acidity seem to hide the sweetness.
It is sweet, relatively easy to drink, and a well-made aged sake. It can be served at room temperature.
It would be nice if it were more easily available.
Erin, thank you for your comment 🙇.
I see, Sakamoto-san has it!
I thought it was an aged sake that is quite easy to drink at room temperature or lukewarm.
6/10
Reaper who hasn't had a drink in quite a while. The front one. I'm going to drink the back side later.
It is said that this sake was made with the exact opposite concept at the time of the "light and dry" boom.
The name was also chosen because it is the opposite of something to be celebrated.
It is already well-known, so there is not much to say about it, but this mellow and delicious sake is rare even in this day and age.
It tastes like sweet brandy, and a glass of wine goes perfectly with it.
The name has a strong impact, but the sake is as unique as its name.
I was wondering what the name of this sake was 😅but a sake store owner who knows the brand well told me that it is not the so-called "ominous god of death" but "Shinigami" from a popular rakugo storytelling performance. The ending may differ depending on the performer, but it doesn't seem to be the disturbing sake I thought it was. The four-pack is "Ura Shinigami" and the one-pack is "Shinigami. The "Shinigami" is a single-bottle because it is said to be liked or disliked by different people, while the "Ura-Shinigami" is easier to drink than the "Shinigami. I'm confused with the image.
As a result, "Shinshin" reminded me of Kikuhime, with a sense of maturity and a strong mirin (sweet sake) flavor. But it has a nice sharpness. It is certainly a sake for different tastes. And "Ura Shinigami" has a sweet flavor and sharpness that is not like a daiginjo, in a good sense. The unique alcohol taste was felt at room temperature, but it was taken as a characteristic of the naming, and it became a food sake. It goes well with a meal with a strong flavor.
I thought Shimane sake would be more like Tenjyu or Kirei-me, but I had a shallow image 😆.
Bought it because of the name. The color is amazing! It is a bright yellow! The aroma is unique, like old wine. The acidity is strong, and although it doesn't linger, it packs a huge punch, just as the name "Shinigami" implies. Personally, I didn't like it very much...
1 gou bottle, 440 yen (posted with the price tag attached (๑˃˃˃))
I bought it without any previous information or search, because I was somewhat attracted by the label.
The color! Unusual!
The aroma is also unusual, like a Chinese shochu.
When I tasted it, it tasted like Japanese sake, but the feeling through my nose was like shochu, or old sake.
It tastes like Japanese sake, but the way it passes through the nose is like shochu or old sake. It's very unusual and enjoyable.
We had sake-steamed clams, baked thick fried tofu, grilled shiitake mushrooms, and other purely Japanese dishes.
I thought it would go well with snacks at a whiskey bar such as nuts and cheese.
Thank you very much!
sake made without added alcohol or sugar
Shaoxing wine! Full-bodied, but easy to drink without a persistent alcohol taste. It has a strong umami flavor, but the weight is in the middle. Not too sweet caramel. Brown sugar type sweetness. Astringent taste. 87 points
Sweetness: 2.7
Acidity: 3.4
Dryness:3.2

Uraku Junmai Daiginjo
Sweet, sour and full-bodied. Junmai Daiginjo-esque cleanness. The body is firm. The umami is gradually absorbed. It is not a dry sake, but a heavy sake to be drunk slowly. It has a honey-like sweetness. The aftertaste is clean and crisp. Smoky. 86 points.
Sweetness: 3.2
Acidity: 2.7
Dryness:3.2
Hinted aroma: 2.7
<No matter how you look at it, it's well aged and bitter.
This is Shinigami from Kamofuku Sake Brewery in Shimane Prefecture. During the "light and dry" sake boom, the brewery thought it would be interesting to make a sake that was the complete opposite of the trend. That is why the name also goes against the grain of the sake industry, which is full of celebratory names.
The color is a very clear brown.
The aroma is mild, with a hint of takuan at the back.
In the mouth, it is sweet, bitter, and sour. Surprisingly mild? But then, a matured bitterness comes in. The bitter aftertaste lingers for a long time.
What is interesting is this bitterness. It is quite strong, but it is not unpleasant at all.
There is no information on the bottle except that it was made in May 2022, but it is clearly aged. I would laugh if it were a new sake.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would compare it to Jiko from "Princess Mononoke. He is an enigmatic character with his own quirks and underhandedness, but somehow not hateable. I don't know his age, but I am sure he is not young. He uses Chinese technology, and maybe he is a good match for Chinese.
Satisfaction level: ★★★☆☆☆
*I will post the full version on my blog, supplemented with character images, etc. If you like, please search for "korune sake" or visit us from the link in the profile section.
5,000,000 rice is used.
Slightly yellowish in color.
The aroma is heavy and richly sweet. Chestnuts in syrup and sweet daifuku.
In the mouth, there are flavors of boiled syrup and brown sugar, followed later by a robust sweet mochi and astringent rice flavor.
When swallowed, it rises with a heavy sweetness and strong, complex bitterness.
The lingering sweetness and bitterness was followed by a slight acidity with hints of cherry and plum!
A mouthful of rich sweetness and umami on a grand scale!
It is sweet and very rich, so I would like to drink it on the rocks or at a higher temperature for a leisurely sipping!
I had an image that Shinshin means dry, but I guess it means very sweet since it's on the back side of the bottle!
