Timeline
もふりーとNow, we go to SAKARAKU for the first time this year. We started off with a bottle of the Honjozo Nakadori by Masamune Gakki.
As usual, it is refreshing and delicious. It is good that it has acidity and sweetness as well. I like it. もふりーとToday I went to Sake Rakusan in Takadanobaba. I had to redeem all the stamp cards I have accumulated, so I used my gold card today and started with a single gou shaké.
Hakurakusei Special Junmai. It's a new sake, and it's fresh and tasty at the same time. And it has just the right amount of richness and aroma. もふりーとModern Sentori: Solid. It is still delicious and stable. It is light, refreshing, light, and straightforward. It goes in smoothly. もふりーとSnow Kayasha Junmai Ginjo.
It is a beautiful, clear, and refreshing sake. I like this refreshing sake, which is typical of sake from the Tohoku region. It is very refreshing and has no unpleasant taste, so I think it is an easy sake to recommend to sake beginners. もふりーとAKABU Junmai Sake. This one is a child on the permanent menu. It has a subtle acidity, a firm umami flavor, and a bitterness that supports it from below. It has a good depth of flavor. もふりーとSawanoi Narukuchinosake Special Junmai. I feel like I drink this every year from fall to winter, I guess I like Sawanoi after all.
It has a nice balance of light acidity and full-bodied sweetness, but it also has a gorgeous overtone that dominates the palate. The aroma is more floral than fruity. Peach or something like that. もふりーとToday I went to Takadanobaba to fill up my stamp card at Sake Rakusan. First up was Kido, a Yamadanishiki low-polishing 80% Yamada Nishiki grown in the Agara field. It has a clean and refreshing aroma that is typical of Kido, but also has a strong umami and richness that comes with a gusto. Kido with coarseness, very fresh. もふりーとDewazakura Ginjo-shu Sakurabana. It has a clean taste with a gorgeous aroma and a hint of sweetness. It is a fun sake to drink. I like it. もふりーとFunaka Hachisaku Tokubetsu Junmai - light and very dry. It is impressive because it has been a famous brand for a long time. It has a slow, umami taste with a light spiciness and sharpness. The subtle aftertaste is also irresistible. もふりーとToday I went to Sake Rakusan in Takadanobaba to fill up my stamps.
While looking at seasonal sake, I found my favorite sake, Seimasamune! Junmai-shu Hi-ire CARP.
I really like this Carp series. It has a sweetness, but the sharpness is clear, and at the same time, the aroma leaves a sweet aftertaste. Oh, it is really irresistible taste. I can't stop. もふりーとDrunken Whale Junmai Ginjo Ginrei. It has a light but firm flavor. The full-bodied flavor is also irresistible. It is an addictive sake. もふりーとSaku Honochi Junmai. The aroma is refreshing and the slight bitterness spreads lightly. The label on the back says lychee, and it certainly looks like it. I like the slight freshness of the taste. もふりーとGinban Junmai Daiginjo 50, a junmai from a well-known brand, Ottersai, would be listed, but thankfully this brand is on the menu all year round.
It is a clear, crisp, light and dry sake with a bitter aftertaste that is quite intense. It is a fun sake to drink. もふりーとI didn't have to work today so I could get in early, so I went to Shuraku in Takadanobaba for a shakshuka.
The first glass was Hououmida Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi. I'm glad I was able to drink it while it was still in season. The aroma is subdued but still juicy, with a rich sweetness and fine acidity.
I love this flavor. もふりーとNiigata Prefecture's Murayu Unfiltered Honkaku. Sweet and sour. The acidity is very strong and mellow. It is so rich and mellow that one wonders if they make such a mellow sake in Niigata. But the sharpness of the acidity is exquisite, and the faint bitterness that lingers afterwards is hard to resist. It is still a delicious sake. もふりーとContinued at SAKARAKU. Shirohaku from Akita Prefecture. I had a strong image of Yamamoto, but the brewery sells it under the name Shirohaku. I didn't know that.
It is still dry and has a nice sharpness. It tastes exactly like a big dry sake.
But what is this sexy Yamamoto yeast, even if it comes from the brewery? もふりーとUrakasumi Honjozo Honjozo Honjozo from Miyagi Prefecture. It has both the lightness and crispness typical of aluzoe, and the softness on the palate and light sweetness in the aftertaste typical of Urakasumi. It is a really well-made sake.
Urakasumi was the first sake I tried, and even though I have had many other sake, I still love this brand. もふりーとToday, we visited Sake Rakusan in Takadanobaba for Poshake.
First up was Zoka-no-Sato Junmai-Shu from Wakayama Prefecture. This sake has a sweet taste with a good aroma. At the same time, the richness and twanginess typical of rice and koji come up from the back. It is a good sake, but I have a feeling that it is not for everyone. もふりーとThis sake was given to me over the weekend at the izakaya "Sake Rak" in Takadanobaba.
This jange was the last sake I had at the restaurant. It has a sweetness on the palate, but the overall taste is sharp and minerally with a standing bitterness. もふりーとThis sake was served over the weekend at the izakaya "Sharaku" in Takadanobaba.
After all, Sharaku is delicious. The beautiful flavor is irresistible. The staff's presentation of the sake was also excellent, making it twice as tasty. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
