Continued: Tochigi Off-line Meeting!
Since you two have already posted a lot 😅
Aizu Miyazumi, Yonezuru, Daisen, Shizen Shu, Tama Ayu, Nozomu, and Chuai tasted just like etoranzzyu and Tsubu-chan posted 🥰.
Other than that, I drank my first sake from Abukuma and Ippoumi, both from Fukushima (if I haven't forgotten).
Abukuma Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki
It was gentle, soft, sweet and delicious, with a nice sharpness and balance (tabun).
Ippouki Junmai Genshu
Fruity aroma with a hint of bitterness and acidity. It is perfect with food and can be enjoyed immediately.
Very nice restaurant, food and drinks were all delicious 🥰.
Okay 😤 I guess the two of us will go on a pub crawl first to find a venue for the next offline meeting 🤣.
Jay & Nobby, good morning 😄I see you drank a lot 😆⤴︎I forgot to drink too 💦 I was interested in this brand.......
I guess we didn't have enough time ⤵︎︎.
I'm looking forward to the next one 🤣👍
Good evening, Tsubu 😃.
We didn't drink all of it together😅.
We didn't have enough time 😃.
I'll think of something so that we can have a little more time next time👍
We had an off-line meeting in Tochigi as well.
We met up with etorannzyu-san, Tsubu-chan, Niru-kun and his son who came to Utsunomiya to make the arrangements!
It was our first visit to Kunisake even though it was our hometown 😀.
It's the power of Sake-no-wa that we can open up in a second even though we've never met each other before 😆.
It's all-you-can-drink for 2 hours and you bring your own favorite sake from the cellar 👍.
J&N, let's start with a light drink first!
I poured a big glass of this from the beginning, but it was sweet and sour and easy to drink 😋.
Okay, let's go next! And after that, we had a lot more!
And we had fun chatting 😊 Time flies by so fast 🥲!
Thanks Ranchan, Tsubu, and Nir for the fun time 🥹 and thanks for the awesome souvenirs 😭.

Tochigi everyone, konnichiwa 🙌!
To all of you who couldn't make it this time! We will plan another offline meeting soon 😊.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 😄🌙Offline meeting was fun 😆♪ It was a pleasure to meet you 💕2 hours went by so fast, I wish we could have talked more 😊 Let's do the Tochigi offline meeting again 😉👍.
Good evening, Tsubu 😃.
The remote also passed us by, so it's like we finally met 😊 You're right, 2 hours is too short 🥲.
Enjoy the 2nd Tochigi Off-line Meeting 😄!
Good evening, Haruei Chichi 😃.
At the offline meeting, it was mentioned that Chichi-san has a great liver ministry 😆 Please come back to visit us!
We'll be back too👍.
This Sake is an IWC winner! My understanding is only 30 bottles were made.
It is light bodied with a rich flavor. The flavor is like tropical fruit and what stands out for me is banana.
Very beautiful Sake! 🥰
Kura Master France competition winner! 2022
This Sake has a light apple flavor and a clean finish. It has a good structure, well balanced with some acidity to keep it clean.
This is the masterpiece of Sawa Hime, whose concept is to "declare true local sake". We have broken away from "Yamadanishiki," which is used by all breweries, and have dared to use "Hitogokochi," a sake rice that is the answer to the question of what is a locally produced sake. Although a difficult rice, Hitogochiki won the World Champion in 2010, and has evolved even further through tireless study. It has a gorgeous and refreshing fruity aroma, and a sense of balance between soft and light umami and acidity that belies its aroma, just as you would expect. When drunk in a wine glass without being overly chilled, it is as satisfying as an expensive white wine.
Since it was highly praised in a special feature on sake in the gourmet magazine "dancyu," it has become hard to find.
This brand is at the core of the unfiltered sake boom.
However, the one we obtained this time is an "orikarami" type, which is rare for Tobiroki.
When poured into a sake cup, the double circle at the bottom of the cup looks faint.
The sake was relatively light and light in comparison to the usual image of a fresh sake with a strong body and a satisfying drinking experience.
It is relatively light and gentle, in contrast to the usual image of a fresh sake with a firm body and a lot of drinking power.
However, while most ogara-mi are "slightly sweet", this one is not.
This one, however, stays in the dry category and has a different character.
It should be drunk well chilled.
Thick and tasty. It is thick and full of umami. It is fruity and the acidity stands out beautifully. There is a sense of freshness. The sweetness is good, elegant sweetness. The aftertaste is bitter. The ginjo aroma is gentle and mild. Soft sweet and sourness. It has the DNA of Tasake, but with a more upgraded taste.
What a great start for the evening! I was able to taste the variety of Sake from Kiyasho Shuzoji. I'm so happy to be able to drink Sake from one of my favorite breweries.
This restaurant has a wide range of Sake and the staff is very knowledgeable about tasting and food pairing. 😃
The aroma on the nose and the immediate taste in the mouth is fruity, like green apple, and at the same time bitter and refreshing. When swallowed, the bitterness continues, and the aftertaste is somewhat like prematurely ripe citrus fruits
