KURO-EMON XVI Yamahai Junmai Genzake
The current name is Kuroemon XVI.
We had this at a meeting of aged sake at Jizakeya Kodama.
I didn't expect to be able to drink Jugodai!
It is a Yamahai pure rice sake with a solid base, so it has withstood the 12 years of aging and matured nicely.
It tastes great warmed up.

This is delicious.
It has a mild, moderate acidity and a bit of bitterness. It is a similar type to my favorite Mucho Tensho Tengumo.
It goes well with soups and soup stock.
Shiitake and maitake mushrooms would also go well.
Guanylic acid and glutamic acid types are good.
Mildly bitter, smouldering A+++.

A rich, dry sake with a strong acidity 😳The same direction as my standard Daruma Masamune. It's not bad, but I want to take it easy.

The aroma of the rice is pleasant😊and the taste is surprisingly light. It has a light caramelized okoge style aroma ✨I couldn't tell what rice it was made from as it is a store original brand.

Dry and sizzling ✨Doburoku has a unique richness but also a refreshing taste🤩 It was not sludgy and easy to drink 😋

As recommended, drink it hot 😋 slightly dry ✨I was told that it has a rich flavor, but it was rather light and refreshing👍.
