Full of moromi, mashiness, sweetness, richness, acidity
Sautéed zucchini with butter and salted fish
Sautéed zucchini with tuna and garlic
Cheese fondue
Purchased at a liquor store.
It has a rich aroma with a slight sweetness.
First at room temperature, although nigori sake, it was not that sloppy and did not have much of a sake alcohol feel.
It was warmed to lukewarm, as it had won an award in the hot sake heating contest 2022. It was sweeter, but deeper and richer. The weight was also stronger than at room temperature and had a long aftertaste.
When it comes to Yamaguchi sake, Ottersai comes first, then Toyo Bijin, and if you like sake, then Ki, Ganki, and Gohashi are the most popular sake brands.
However, it seems that the much talked about Yamaguchi sake, Tenbi and Ohmine, have risen to the top of the list.
I happened to find Ohmine's sake cup with a simple jacket at a sake store and bought it.
The aroma is very warm, earthy(?).
At first, there is a slight sweetness like muscat, but as you swallow, the umami of Yamada-Nishiki comes right away.
The aftertaste is slightly lingering on the palate, like after eating grapes.
It has quite a punch and is very tasty.
The color is slightly yellow.
I drank it cold and was impressed by its refreshing thirst-quenching taste and intense lingering aftertaste on the palate.
