The sweetness and acidity of the rice on the palate and the slight bitterness in the aftertaste make it a very tasty sake that is tight without being soggy.
Good evening, Sake Niwaka-san: ⭐️
I was wondering if Shiga sake is not to my taste when I tasted it at an event (I was told that Shiga sake generally tastes like this), but this one looks delicious 😋.
By the way, my favorite is Banshu Issen.
Good evening.
Thank you for your comment.
I'm sorry if the taste is different from your own. (I didn't like the other ones either)
Banshu Issen's Aizan is to die for.
My guess is Mimuro Sugi!
Sake Niwaka-san I see.
I knew Shiga sake is unique 🤔.
Mimorosugi is also delicious 😋.
I was shocked at the taste of Bodai Hashiro of Mimorosugi when I was a beginner sake drinker 🫢.
I missed buying summer sake 😭
Kachikachiyama-san I, too, have a strong image of Shiga Prefecture's sake as being unique.
When I first started drinking, I drank both dry and umami versions of Bodhi Hashiroshi from Sanmorosugi, and it fried my brain.
It's popularity is terrible these days😅.
Good luck with the next limited edition sake 💪.
It was very light on the palate, and when I put it in my mouth and rolled it around on my tongue, I could taste a very strong rice flavor, and it was delicious to drink with a strong and refreshing shwashy taste!
Jay & Nobby, thank you for your comments! ☺️
Sentori has a lot of really good sake, including the X-Spark.
I've had about 8 different kinds so far and the United Arrows Autumn Leaves was my favorite.
The mouthfeel is very sweet, but the bitterness of the rice soon comes through in the book, making it refreshing and easy to drink without a sweet taste in the mouth.
