We went to visit Ojin Shrine and had Miwa somen for lunch. On the approach to the shrine, there is a store directly owned by Imanishi Sake Brewery, and I got a bottle of their seasonal sake. It is a very easy to drink sake with a sweet taste. I wish I had bought a bottle. The main brewery was closed on Sunday, so I had to leave the sake for the day. Sake ice cream was also good 🍨.
Banana-like aroma, crisp and easy to drink. The sweetness spreads in the mouth and the taste is refreshing at the end. The aroma was more than usual, probably because I drank it in a wine glass.
It has a bitterness in the fruity taste with a touch of schwash. When I opened the bottle, the cork flew out like champagne. I prefer it when it is cooled down to a crisp. I think I prefer the Daiginjo Yamadanishiki. But if you take cost performance into consideration, the overall evaluation is high.
It was slightly effervescent and refreshing, but also sweet, with a slight bitterness at the end. The bitterness suppresses the sweetness and gives it a well-balanced aftertaste. Be careful not to drink too much.
It tastes like grapefruit. It will go well with any dish. It is crisp. But I can't tell if the crispness is grapefruit or the smell of alcohol. I don't like the smell of alcohol, but I think I can manage to drink it crisp and tasty. It is a different genre from Kaze no Mori and Matsumoto, which I have been drinking recently.
It has a taste that even those who don't drink much sake can enjoy. It is an easy-drinking sake with a slight sourness and a refreshingly tasty and refreshing taste. It is a reasonably priced, delicious, and well-balanced sake.
Easy to drink, like water in a good way. You can feel the crisp and refreshing taste, followed by a lingering fruity aftertaste. This is delicious 😋 Drink it cold or chilled and guzzle it down!
We had lunch at Soba Restaurant Iwano in Arashiyama, Kyoto and were served Kyoto's local sake. It is a rather mellow sake. This sake has a slightly mellow flavor. It might even go well warmed up!
It has been a long time since I have had an Ottersai. The aroma and sweetness of rice spread to the palate the moment you drink it. After that, it is refreshingly crisp and slightly dry. I thought Otters was a sweet sake, but I didn't know it was like this. It is delicious.
I got it at Naramachi. There were several varieties, so I tasted the different types and got one. The aroma in the mouth is wonderful and the taste is easy to drink.
A 500 yen sake tasting at Harushika: 5 different kinds of sake plus an extra sparkling sake.
The first sake, 2023, was dry but very easy to drink and would go well with any food. The third one was a sealed sake that I could drink in gulps like a juice. The smoked Nara-zuke (pickles) was delicious. I heard that this year's sake brewery tour was fully booked, so I would definitely like to participate next year.
Very easy to drink. After swallowing, the aroma spreads to the nose at once. It also has a little bit of a schwarziness. I visited Umenoyado's new beautiful factory and got it. I was curious about Mikku sake in the Aragoshi series of my favorite Aragoshi Momoshu, so I will try it next time. It's only available for a limited time, and I need to hurry!
