Sake from Fukushima Hirotogawa Junmai Nigori Nama Hirotogawa is becoming more and more popular every year and is becoming more and more difficult to obtain. One of the most popular is this Junmai Nigori sake. I made a reservation at the liquor store where I usually buy sake to get it. Hirotogawa's junmai daiginjos are so well balanced in terms of sweetness, umami, and acidity that they are so delicious that they make me sigh. This nigori nama-shu has a sweetness and acidity that is even more pronounced than the junmai-ginjo. It has a fruity sweet aroma and a gentle sweetness like white peaches. The aftertaste, however, is a strong acidity. The alcohol content is 16%, but it is easy to drink. This is delicious. Sentori's Yukidaruma is the same nigori, but it is slightly more carbonated and has a fresher feel. Hirotogawa Junmai Nigori Nama has a more mature taste. I like it very much. Tochigi Sake SENKOU Mukaku This sake is popular on SNS and Youtube. I couldn't find it anywhere near my neighborhood, so when I went to Tokyo, I bought it with snowballs at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Nihonbashi. Hasegawa has Ganki, Gakki Masamune, Keiraku, and Ippakusuisei, and there were many sakes I wanted to drink, but my refrigerator was at its limit, so I only had the Sentori. Maybe I should buy a small refrigerator exclusively for sake. When I put SENKOKU MUJIN in my mouth, the acidity spread like green apples, and even though it is fire-aged, it is as fresh as a fresh sake. It is like a white wine made from rice. Akita Sake Hanamupu Dewasanzan Junmai Ginjo I bought it in a bottle. Hanamup is my favorite brand. The last time I drank it, it was made from Omachi sake rice, but this time it is made from Dewa Sanzu sake rice from Yamagata. Hanamup itself received technical guidance from the Jyushiyo brewery in Yamagata, so I thought it would be a good match and bought it. The aroma is faintly sweet. In the mouth, it has a sweetness that is typical of Hanamup, but it has more acidity than Omachi. Hana Yuu Omachi is gorgeous and feminine, while Dewa Sanzan is not so gorgeous and masculine. Ibaraki Sake Yui Yui Junmai Daiginjo Akaban Omachi Nama-shu 720ml I've been drinking only Akita and Fukushima sake, so I thought I'd try some local Ibaraki sake. Yui Yui used to be a sake brewery in Yuki City, but it was destroyed by a fire last year. Therefore, this sake is made in Hokkaido. It is made from luxurious Akaban Omachi rice, cut down to 38%. The aroma has a hint of ginjo aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the delicious taste of rice spreads at once. The taste is not sweet, but just a little sourness. From there, there is no tangy taste, and the taste is sharp and clean. It would go well with bonito sashimi, for example. Akita sake is full and feminine, while Ibaraki sake is more masculine. While there are many traditional light and dry sake, this Yui Yui is not so dry, and you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the rice. Isshaku-Suisei Special Junmai Ryoshin 1800ml Akita Sake The previous sake we drank was the same Ichihakusuisei, Yamadaho Junmai Ginjo. The rice and polish used to make the sake are different.
