We found it in the local products section of a supermarket we stopped by in Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture. It is a brewing town, and there were a lot of sake and soy sauce on display, so I bought some soy sauce as well.

I didn't feel it was as spicy as "super spicy". It is different from the spiciness of alcohol. It is spicy when you put it in your mouth, but sometimes you feel sweetness at some point.

This sake is from Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, made famous by the movie "Nobo no Shiro" and the TV drama "Rikuoh.
It is not sold in Saitama Prefecture, but many old izakayas and restaurants in Gyoda City have a signboard of "Masugawa" on their walls.
I guess that means it is a local sake loved by the locals.

The brewer is known for "Machida Shuzo," but this one is also delicious.
