Missed check-in the other day. I am writing this from memory. Compared to the special junmai we drank earlier, the dryness is up. However, it is a Junmai Daiginjo with a delicious rice flavor. We had just run out of food when we had it, but we drank it right away. Incidentally, we went to Fukurajima Island, which we could cross on foot, but the rain and wind became so strong that our umbrellas didn't work. I was soaked to the skin. Still, I would like to go back to Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.

Hoya and Sake This is also a luxury. It is also a Hoya Sashimi. This is a brand of ascidians called "Hoya no Kiwami" (the best of ascidians). No smell at all. The flavor is concentrated. The sake is a delicious sake with a hint of sweetness and no cloying taste. It is a good combination that makes sake and sea squirt go together naturally!

Big Move... Today, Miyagi Prefecture Local sake and local snacks on a cruise in Matsushima! This is the best! Urakasumi: I thought it would be dry since it is from the Tohoku region, but it is quite tasty! However, it has a refreshing aftertaste. Perfectly matched with Tsumami!

Hello Nobu Nobu 😃 Yesterday I was thinking Izumo Fuji on the Yakumo, but today it's already Miyagi Prefecture 😳and you're already in the back haze on the sightseeing boat 🛥️ 😋 I want to go drinking on my trip again 🥹.

Jay & Nobby, good evening. That's right. I packed an impossible business trip and had to move on Saturday and Sunday. Since we were traveling on Saturday and Sunday, we thought we should at least enjoy ourselves and went to Matsushima. It was raining, but the sake and the scenery were great.

This is really the last ride of my life on a Japan National Railways type express train. My last companions were Izumo Fuji and Akaten. This Izumo Fuji is the first sake I have ever tasted. It has a fine candy-like aroma and a hint of sweetness. It spreads in the mouth and passes through the nose. When you eat akaten (red tempura), the oil of the akaten obliterates the sake, and when you drink sake again, the oil of the akaten obliterates the sake. The synergistic effect made me drink it in no time.

Hello Nobu Nobu 😃 Is this your last farewell to the JNR type express train ⁉️ No, I'm jealous that you're enjoying it to the fullest. I like Akaten too ❤️ Izumo Fuji and I think it would be a good match 👌.

Today, we had a lunchtime drink, with snow crab and white squid as our entrée... It's a bit extravagant. This sake is a refreshing way to wash down the sweet taste of the entrée. However, even if the taste of soy sauce and crab vinegar flows away, the sweetness of the crab and squid remains in your mouth. This sweet taste in the mouth is the best. It may seem that sake plays a supporting role, but this is the impression of a local sake.

Good evening, Nobu Nobu-san. What a luxurious lunchtime drink with snow crab and white squid! Enjoying local sake to complement the crab and squid is one of the best parts of the trip 😆.

Today we will encounter good sake. Arriving in Yonago, we went to an izakaya Local sake on the label of an izakaya near the hotel. Apparently it is a sake from Chiyomusubi. It goes well with local fish. After eating oily fish, drinking this sake removes the oily taste, leaving only the umami. It is truly a local sake. I have found a good sake at the beginning of the year.

Newlywed GUI Cup Nice name brand. Unlike the earlier Kyokusho, this is a very peculiar sake. However, this is delicious. â It seems to push away the faint fishy smell that is peculiar to mamakari fish. Local sake, local food, and a night train ride... How can it not be delicious?

Yonago after a long absence. Probably the last Yakumo-go (Super Yakumo) really. A cup of sake and a cup of mamakari. It is a kind of sake that doesn't stay on the tongue and goes down your throat easily. When you drink it, the sweetness disappears when you think it has been sweetened. There is no bitterness at all! It is a refined sake. The sweet vinegar after eating mamakari is also washed away. I have found another great sake. I know I'm a couple of days late, but Happy New Year! I look forward to working with you again this year. I am also a victim of the Great Hanshin Earthquake, and I feel that the Noto disaster is no stranger to me. When the time comes when I will not be bothered by the disaster, I would like to go to Ishikawa to drink sake and help the recovery efforts, even if only a little.

Nobu Nobu, I look forward to working with you this year😊. Cup of sake, it looks delicious as it is! It's a pity I've never ridden Yakumo 😢 Enjoy the ride 😢. I'm sorry to hear about the earthquake, it's the same one in January, so it's even more heartbreaking.

Pon-chan-san, I look forward to working with you again this year. I am planning to take the Yakumo one more time on my way home, but it will probably be the last Japan National Railways limited express in my life! The earthquake is really heartbreaking. And on New Year's Day, in the middle of a family gathering...

Risshakuji Temple is famous for its quietness and the sound of cicadas permeating the rocks. I have been a haiku lover since childhood, and finally got to visit. It was snowing, but the view below was clear, and according to the locals, it was a lucky day. There were no cicadas, but the sound was muffled by the snow and the silence was truly seeping in. The sake had a nice aroma that lingered in the nose, but was quite refreshing. The sake alone leaves no aftertaste. It is really delicious when served with the sweet soup stock of taro stew. I was going to take some home with me, but I ended up drinking the whole bottle.

Nobu Nobu-san, I have heard of Yamadera. Is it still possible to climb it this time of year? Sake is great with sweet potato stew. I thought the brand name was "Otoko wa tsurai yo" 😅😅! I thought it was a man's tsurazu😅.

Drinking Iron Part 2 Nagano Sake in Yamagata Sake while watching the snowy scenery. It's good! As it says "high-productive yeast for malic acid", This sake has a crisp acidity and a sweet sake-like flavor. The aftertaste gives the impression that the acidity has disappeared and the sweetness remains. It is a sake that leaves you with a lingering aftertaste.

A small drinking iron from Sendai Station Sourness is good! After the umami of Junmai, the sourness passes through the nose and down the throat. It is a peculiar taste, or rather, this sourness has a unique flavor and is delicious. Furthermore, when you eat it with Hoya Tamago, which combines the sweetness of egg and the bitterness of Hoya, the sweetness of the egg that remains in your mouth is quickly washed down your throat, and your mouth is refreshed. Sleet this morning. I am luxuriating in the morning, watching the snow and drinking iron to Yamagata.

Long time business trip to Kyushu. Along with the horse mackerel and the mackerel... This fish has a nice crunchy texture. It is indeed a fish from Seki. Fatty and firm. It is the result of the Bungo Channel. I paired this fish with an Oita sake. Sansui. It was the first time for me to feel the sourness with sweetness in the aroma. It is a sake from a warm region. It has a peculiar taste, but it goes perfectly with the fat of this fish. When paired with the fish, both the fish and the sake are unstoppable. The sake itself has a sweetness➕ and a unique peculiarity, but it does not remain on the tongue and gives the impression of passing down the throat. Again, I was spoiled by the local cuisine.

Drinking Iron Part 3 The four-hour express trip is in its final stages. This time, the sake is from Toho Kuni in Fukushima. The most peculiar of the day. First, you feel a peculiar peculiarity, followed by sweetness. This peculiarity goes well with the ekiben we ate together. It enhances the flavor of the tongue. Also, I don't dislike this kind of sake with a strong sense of originality, so it is delicious. I drink a little bit at the end of the train ride.

Drinking iron today But it is a 4-hour express trip. Sendai to Tokyo by conventional train. Let's start with Manazuru. It is a rounded and peculiar sake like a matured sake. However, it is a pleasant sake that does not leave a sweet taste in the mouth. It is mellow while being rocked by the express train.

It is in the sparkling wine genre, but it is slightly effervescent without being zesty. You can taste a little bit of a sparkling sensation. It tastes like an adult carbonated drink. It tastes slightly sweet and bitter. Even without the entrée, the refreshing feeling is pleasant. This is the end of today's drinking experience: ‼︎ Next time, can I report on Shinyakumo?

The Seven Crown Horses seems to be JRA's Symbol Rudolf. After all, as a person from Shiga, which hosts a training center, this is one that cannot be missed. It is quite impressive. I had cheese as a side dish, and it tasted as good as the cheese. If you eat the cheese and drink the shichikabane, the taste of the cheese seems to spread. The entrée and the sake are perfect👍 and I'm happy about it: ‼︎

Shimane sake bought in Matsue. It's nice to drink local sake in your hometown, isn't it? We had a drink with some side dishes from the basement of a department store in front of the station. By the way, the department store in front of the station will close at the end of the year. It seems that all the stores in front of the station are having a hard time... I drank this sake at the Ogi -> Yakumo. It is a refreshing sake with a strong flavor. It has a strong sweetness and a twangy sensation. It is a delicious sake. I drank it right away.

Sake with Izumo Wariko Soba at a soba restaurant in a samurai residence by Matsue Castle. It is refreshing. It has a refreshing sweetness and bitterness. It is excellent when paired with fresh soba noodles and lightly sweetened fried bean curd. The sweetness of the sake seems to be added to the sweetness of the fried bean curd. Combined with the atmosphere of the samurai residence, it is the best luxury 😀.
