Hiyaoroshi is great! It glides down your throat! The added acidity is a perfect match for the beef tongue ekiben! Our trip to Joban will soon be over! The Shinkansen is comfortable and nice, but traveling by conventional train is also good!

Hi Nobu Nobu 😃Is this a beef tongue bento that gets warm when you pull the string? What a moe label 🤣.

Good morning, Mr. Manachy! Yes, it is! I'm of the school of thought that bento tastes good even if it's cold... Warm ones are delicious too 😋. I chose the moe one to show off to my kids... but they weren't interested 😭

According to the liquor store, it is one of the products that are in surprisingly small quantities. A refreshing feeling as it flows down your throat. But you can feel the sweetness in it. Sake while looking at the real sea, not the Awamai in Shiga. For those of us from inland prefectures, it's unbearable!

Lately, I've been working from early morning to late at night 😓. I like to do it because it's an interesting part of being a technician when I can get good results... So, today, I'm going to drink iron on my way home from a business trip! It's a tasty sake with a bit of tangy acidity, bitterness, and full of flavor. Perfect with Hoya 👌 Now for a 5 hour train ride with a view of the sea 🚃. I want to reward myself for a month of hard work!

The last drink of the day was a low-alcohol Echigo-Tsumari sake! I drank a little too much, so I am thankful for something like this 😊. The low alcohol content is still very sweet. However, the acidity is also effective, so it is surprisingly easy to drink! It goes well with sweet Inari. The last train I took today was the Hokuriku Shinkansen. As I expected, it was less bumpy and more comfortable than in the days of Shirasagi. ‼︎ No signal problem at the Hokuriku Tunnel. However, it was too comfortable and I felt lonely 😭.

From the Sea of Japan to Kansai After all, the sea is wide and nice♪ The label gives the impression of a refreshing taste, but it is quite sweet and acidic. It is as if my mouth is full of sake! It is perfect when paired with a large dry persimmon seed. The sake softens the spiciness that makes my tongue tingle. I think the last sake is from Niigata.

From Aizu to the Sea of Japan side... Drinking iron, rocked by a train running along the river It really is like enjoying the best part of the drinking train! And a cup of local sake 🍶. Not as good quality as the more expensive sake, but the acidity and a little bit of miscellaneous taste also accentuates the taste and goes well with the local salami: ‼︎ Really, it's so good and so inexpensive! I think it's the fruit of the brewery's efforts!

The sake flows through your mouth like water🍶. However, when you first sip it, it is tangy on the tongue and sweet throughout the mouth! After that, the aroma and taste quickly disappear! If you drink it after biting into some local carpaccio, all the fat from the carpaccio will be washed away from your mouth and you will want to drink it again! I love the cross seat cars! I can enjoy a drink with my drink in the window, and it is a moment of bliss for me!

Fukushima is the hometown of Eiji Tsuburaya, isn't it? I was a Kamen Rider fan, so I didn't watch many Ultraman series... but I liked Seven, and I remember watching reruns many times when I was a child. That being said... this Pygmon bubbly sake is a low alcohol, fizzy sake! I bought it for the impact of the label, but it's delicious inside: ‼︎ I've been drinking it in the morning, and it's the perfect low-alcohol morning drink, the carbonation is thirst-quenching, and it also has a nice flavor! The carbonation refreshes the nettlesome sweetness and makes it easy to drink in large gulps. Also, the sweetness and sourness remain in your mouth, not on your tongue, as if they are slowly melting into your mouth. I don't know what it is, but it is very pleasant! Sake from Fukushima is delicious, and it's good that there are small bottles so it's easy to buy! I know it must be hard work for the sake brewers, but I really appreciate it! By the way, the name of the station "Kamito" is very attractive to sake drinkers!

Yesterday I was in Koriyama and encountered a big autumn festival in front of the station called the Azumi Kokuzo Shrine Autumn Festival😊. I'm super lucky to run into a local festival on a business trip ✌️ With so many people and children riding on floats and playing musical instruments, I felt that this is a town that cares about its children! There were dozens of stalls lined up, but few of them served alcohol, giving the impression of a healthy crowd! So, after watching the festival, Ah and I went back to the hotel and drank in the room! With radium eggs we had bought in Fukushima... The sake has a rather robust flavor! The aroma of sake spreads in your mouth. You can simply taste the umami. The sake aroma lingers on the palate with a slight aftertaste. On the other hand, the radium hot spring egg with soy sauce drizzled on it has a more complex flavor than expected, with the aroma of the hot spring also transferred to the egg 😳. The eggs and sake go surprisingly well together! Or rather, the aroma of the hot spring water becomes the aroma of sake in the mouth, which is just the right flavor! Festival + Sake I guess it's a reward for all the hard work I put in on my business trip.

Hi Nobu Nobu 🐦. I see you came across this on your business trip 😳It looks like a pretty big festival and you're really lucky👍✨. Festival goers have gone without booze lately 💦 I feel a little sad but I guess it can't be helped 😅.

The festival seems to have a nearly 300-year tradition, and there was even a kagura (Shinto music and dance) performance at the shrine! We were really lucky. ✌️ It was a very hot festival, but it was a healthy festival with few ruffians!

Today, I'm not drinking iron, I'm out drinking! I'm drinking Aizu sake at a restaurant serving Aizu cuisine. This sake, when you drink it by itself, you will feel the sweetness and taste it in your mouth. It is a delicious sake with a slightly bitter taste on the tongue! However, the image changes when it is paired with this Aizu cuisine! When you drink it after a meal, how refreshing it is! It seems to wash away the flavor of the food in your mouth, leaving only the flavor of the food. Local sake with local food is the best luxury 😃.

Yesterday's drinking train ended at Narita... I was wondering why there was a train line near Narita Airport. The sake was Kaisen, a Tokyo sake brewery that can be found at convenience stores in train stations. The train was empty, so we snuck out and drank some sake. The sake glides smoothly on the tongue 🍶 and lingers in the mouth for a long time. It is a sake that lingers in the mouth and can be enjoyed forever! Japanese sake is really rich in variations!

Leaving Oarai, we finally started drinking ‼︎ I would have liked to go to the Kashima-Oarai line, but it was difficult in the long-seat cars of the Kashima-Oarai line... Finally, we entered the Kashima line and started drinking! Ibaraki's sake is really good 😋. This Kimonbaya is also sweet and flows smoothly through your mouth! However, it is not lacking in acidity, and it is the kind of sake that makes you want to keep drinking it 🍶. The Kashima line took about 15 minutes, but I drank it in that time!

Sake made with 100% local rice 🍶? Junmai Ginjo sake? No info on the label 😭 The inn included breakfast, so we had it with breakfast... It's a sake that has a great umami taste in your mouth, but it also has a sour and bitter taste! Drinking it with breakfast, I drank 300ml in the morning 😊. By the way, Mito and Oarashi used to be connected by a track line. I found a picture of it at the inn.

We also had a drink at the inn... We bought some sake in Mito and had it in Oarai... It's nice to see the Galupin fans inside and outside the inn, and cheering them on in the streets! Unlike the Shiki from Oarai, this sake has a strong flavor! The slight bitterness enhances the taste. It is a sake that can be drunk slowly. By the way, dinner was Tarashiyaki, a local dish similar to monjayaki! Beer went well with this dish!

Back from a business trip in Ibaraki... Overnight in Oarai A cup of sake at the famous anime-inspired Sakanaya Honten. It has a sweet taste, but it goes down smoothly. It goes well with the sashimi I splurged a little on! The sashimi was so delicious that you can eat it with salt! Today, I'm drinking iron from Oarai. ‼︎

I really wanted to ride on the Eva wrapped train... I got to ride the Amahama Line, which I had wanted to ride! A train running slowly on the north side of Lake Hamana. I hope it will remain forever! Actually, this sake is a rare sake from a liquor store in front of Kakegawa station. Sake with a nice sharpness 🍶. Just when you think the umami has spread to your mouth, it disappears! However, the umami before it disappears has a nice, clean taste! No wonder the old lady at the liquor store praised it so highly! Please try it when you visit Kakegawa!

Drinking iron on the way home from a business trip today First, I started with a Taman boast that was sold at a convenience store in Tokyo. A delicious sweet sake. The sweetness lingers in the mouth forever. It is a little peculiar, but I like this kind of unique taste. Recently, there are more and more long seats, and more and more people are afraid to be seen and drink! Still, the sound and vibration of the rail going through the joints is relaxing 😊.

Petit Izu drinking train after work yesterday Finally, I took the Shinkansen that I could finally get... First, we had dinner at Hakone Soba at Odawara station to finish our meal 😊 As I thought, Ekisoba is reasonably priced and delicious 🤤. Now, on to the Shinkansen, and the dried bonito flakes and nyankappu👍 that I've been eating since Izukyu! They go so well together, don't they? I mean, this Nyankappu has a nice aroma and flavor, but it secretly says Junmai Ginjo on the label: ‼️ Even those who bought it for the label were surprised when they drank it 🍶. Of course it goes well with dried bonito flakes, and I wanted to taste it as it is, but it was gone too soon 😭. I hope everyone will be attracted by the design and buy it! The inside is perfect 👌👍

Continued from yesterday With the dried bonito flakes I bought in Shimoda... When I asked the shopkeeper about the dried bonito flakes, he told me that they are originally used to make thick soup stock, but they are also good for snacks! When you chew it, the flavor comes out slowly and there is no smell! So, this Shimoda Reimei! I imagined it to be a refreshing sake from the label, but it is quite a tasty sake! A sake that you can enjoy the aftertaste even without an entrée! However, this time I paired it with bonito flakes that are full of umami, so I got the impression that it would make the inside of my mouth clean and delicious! After all, it is luxurious in the mouth! After all, there is nothing better than a train window + local food + local sake! There is nothing better than this 😊.
