It's been a while since I checked in.
I've been enjoying sake since the beginning of the year, but I've been so busy that I've fallen asleep...
I'm thinking of doing a series of check-ins as a reminder.
Well, it's been a long time since I've been on a drinking spree!
The final destination is Owani Onsen!
Now, the Akita Shinkansen is crowded Hayabusa due to the uncoupling of Akita Shinkansen!
Investigating the problem while moving the train. I know some people will come close to us, but it's really amazing. Thank you very much.
This Yamagata Masamune is delicious!
You can feel the refreshing sweetness in your mouth.
It has a nice aftertaste and doesn't leave any aftertaste even if it is just sake.
However, when paired with fried ginkgo nuts, a little bitterness comes out and gives a different impression of the sake!
Thank you very much, Mr. Sake Brewer, for such a delicious sake at a normal price 😊.
Hello Nobu Nobu 😃
Long time no see! Is this your first post this year😊.
Fried ginkgo! This is a good entrée that would be good to drink 👍I want to do it this year 🤗
Manazuru and Hoya, which have become a staple for me
Is the Sendai project coming to an end?
I may be a little while longer...
The peculiar taste of Manazuru and Hoya really go well together!
Sake with a view of the snow today!
The view is also a good accompaniment to sake, isn't it?
What a great view of the drinking railway!
Drinking iron while looking at the apt-type railroad track at the end of the line
I felt as if I was in paradise!
The sake was a local Shizuoka sake, which I bought directly from the market!
It still has a sweet sake-like flavor, which is perfect when paired with local snacks!
It was as if all the hard work I had put in during the weekdays had paid off!
Good evening, Nobu Nobu. I was curious about the Apt system and looked at the Wiki. I see! It is a way to climb steep slopes, isn't it? I learned that the loop line in Hikita is a way to avoid the gradient 🧐It is indeed a good way to drink 🚃🏔️😊.
Good morning, Hirupeko 😃.
Oigawa railroad is almost entirely made up of sightseeing, but due to the heavy rain, some services are suspended.
If you actually ride the train, you can hear the sound of the gears meshing, and I recommend it: ‼︎
A drinking trip to Shizuoka!
The view and the sake are great!
No bitterness, just the right amount of bitterness and sweetness!
Even if you don't have anything to eat, you can drink it in one gulp!
I drank it all at once!
Good evening, Nobu Nobu 🦉.
That's a great view ✨It looks like your drink will taste many times better: ❣️
Oigawa Railway, I think. I remember being surprised when I saw Kintetsu and Nankai trains 😆.
Mr. Pon-chan, yes, the Oigawa Railway.
The main line is partially closed due to heavy rain, so the Igawa line is isolated. It was a very small effort to support the railway.
There are many things that only those who ride the train can feel, such as the sound of the apt gears, etc. I recommend it!
Hamamatsu overnight stay
It's a different restaurant than yesterday... same family.
Japanese sword by Hana-no-Mai, a famous Shizuoka sake: ⚔️
As it is super dry, I thought it would be better with fresh seafood... so I served it with raw shirasu first!
As I thought, it goes well with it!
The sake was so refreshing that the Japanese sword cut through the umami of the raw shirasu, leaving the taste of the raw shirasu on the palate!
However, when you come to Hamamatsu, you also want to eat gyoza!
Gyoza and Japanese sword also go well together!
If you purify your mouth with a Japanese sword first and then eat gyoza, the sweetness of cabbage of Hamamatsu gyoza will fill your mouth!
I know I'm saying a lot of things, but local sake and local food definitely go well together!
I'm in a luxurious mood today, too!

First stay in Hamamatsu in several years
Dashi-maki (seaweed dashi roll) full of the aroma of the sea, fresh shirasu
This and local sake is the best combination 😃.
Full of flavor, you can feel it in the back of your throat, not on your tongue!
So after drinking, you will be left with a nice aroma that enhances the food!
Delicious 😋😋.
Nobu Nobu-san Good evening!
Full of the aroma of the sea
Nori dashi maki nama shirasu
It looks so delicious!
I can drink sake just by imagining it!
I can drink sake!
I've never had a bottle of "Deiseijo" either, so if I see it, I'll drink it!
Good evening, Shishigami!
Izuse-jo, it doesn't have the sophistication of today's style, but after all, local sake is the best with local food. ‼︎
Please try it when you come to Hamamatsu!
Delicious ‼︎
Delicious sake with a sweet taste and delicious aroma.
Excellent when paired with local oysters!
A little expensive because of the touristy price, but it's worth it 😊.
A refreshing drink
With oyster crackers...
The rice cracker has the flavor of oyster, but has a crispy taste.
This goes well with this refreshing sake!
This is what local sake and local food + local scenery
Nothing beats it 😊.
Nobu Nobu Second time to Matsushima.
Last time it rained, so I wanted to come on a sunny day😊.
Whoa a little peculiar sake 🍶.
This sake and sea squirt go well together!
The bitter taste of the ascidian combined with the bitter taste of the sake gives it a nice flavor!
The view is also great 😃.
I'm being treated to luxury!
It's been a while since I checked in.
Moving the day before my business trip today.
Shiga sake + Shiga ekiben
We are having a local luxury that we usually can't enjoy!
Roasted duck and black beans are perfect with sake!
Sake is a refreshing sake from Kitajima Shuzo, a brewery in Shiga.
Both the sake and the food seem to go down your throat smoothly.
Good evening, Nobu Nobu 😃.
The photo of your 🚃seat with the ekiben and sake invites me to travel 😌The bento looks like a great appetizer 😍.
I didn't think you even had soba noodles to finish the meal in the train 😆.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby.
Yonehara Station used to be one of the oldest established eki-no-Soba restaurants, but they withdrew from the station. They are now serving soba at their head office near the station.
I guess you don't get off at Maibara even if you take the Shinkansen, but please try it 🙏.
Hello Nobu Nobu 🐦.
I like drinking train with Shiga ekiben and sake 🚃It's only available in Maibara, right? I saw it for the first time! I like the arabesque patterned wrapping too😊.
I didn't know they no longer had ekisoba 😳
Ponchan, sorry for the late reply🙇.
That's right. Ekimisoba is now only sold outside the station.
I guess it's like ekimisoba.
We are getting a boost from the Hokuriku Shinkansen line, which has made Yonehara a little lonely again!
Sake bought in Kyoto and enjoyed in Gifu!
It has a slightly different texture on the tongue!
You can feel the umami on the palate, but it doesn't stay on the tongue, it seems to go straight down the throat!
This is the essence of sake rice "Celebration", isn't it?
I tend to think that sake made by major breweries is just cheap and tasteless, but I guess they must be working hard every day!
I thought it was a very tasty sake 🍶.
I've always wanted to ride the 3-section barge, and I finally did!
The train was so crowded that there were people standing on the train until about halfway through the ride!
It was not a relaxing ride, but I got the impression that the train is a local transportation system.
Long seats, so you can sneak on the train and enjoy drinking!
On the way home from a business trip, I didn't have much time to spare, so this drink was my first meal of the day!
It's refreshing and easy to drink even if you don't have anything to go with it.
I'm soaking up the travel atmosphere while looking out the rainy train window 😊.
Unexplored Stations in the City: ‼︎
Due to a combination of transportation, I'm staying in Tokyo today.
It's a rare opportunity to go to a train station, so I'm going to drink at a train line I rarely go to....
The sake has a sourness that is very strong.
However, it is a delicious sake with a strong umami taste!
I wonder if the snacks would bring out the best in each other...
Today, I'm drinking it with the sound of the tide as a side dish.
Hiyaoroshi is great!
It glides down your throat!
The added acidity is a perfect match for the beef tongue ekiben!
Our trip to Joban will soon be over!
The Shinkansen is comfortable and nice, but traveling by conventional train is also good!
Good morning, Mr. Manachy!
Yes, it is! I'm of the school of thought that bento tastes good even if it's cold...
Warm ones are delicious too 😋.
I chose the moe one to show off to my kids... but they weren't interested 😭
According to the liquor store, it is one of the products that are in surprisingly small quantities.
A refreshing feeling as it flows down your throat.
But you can feel the sweetness in it.
Sake while looking at the real sea, not the Awamai in Shiga. For those of us from inland prefectures, it's unbearable!
Lately, I've been working from early morning to late at night 😓.
I like to do it because it's an interesting part of being a technician when I can get good results...
So, today, I'm going to drink iron on my way home from a business trip!
It's a tasty sake with a bit of tangy acidity, bitterness, and full of flavor.
Perfect with Hoya 👌
Now for a 5 hour train ride with a view of the sea 🚃.
I want to reward myself for a month of hard work!
The last drink of the day was a low-alcohol Echigo-Tsumari sake!
I drank a little too much, so I am thankful for something like this 😊.
The low alcohol content is still very sweet. However, the acidity is also effective, so it is surprisingly easy to drink!
It goes well with sweet Inari.
The last train I took today was the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
As I expected, it was less bumpy and more comfortable than in the days of Shirasagi. ‼︎
No signal problem at the Hokuriku Tunnel.
However, it was too comfortable and I felt lonely 😭.
