master of the electronic arts Pear-like aroma. Slightly effervescent. Soft. Moderately sour and sweet. A little bitterness at the end. The assertiveness is moderate, so it goes well with meals. Delicious. I bought it at the nearest liquor store where I learned about it from Nishida Sake Brewery in Aomori last year. I was grateful for it and left it for more than a year, but it was surprisingly sold around here, and I opened it thinking that I could drink it in Aomori. When I drank it in Aomori last year, I was not so impressed, but I was surprised to find it tasty again. Or is this what they call "flavor onboard"?

North Alps Drinking Walk 9/14-15 Fruity aroma and refreshing fizz, very tasty. Also, the sake served at the store is very tasty. The sake served in the shop is very tasty, even more so because Miss Sake pours it for us. The tasting room is kind of flirtatious with reggae-like music playing. But the sake is delicious. It's frustrating.

North Alps Drinking Walk underway 9-14-9/15 Kitaan Brewery. It's refreshing and tasty. Daiginjyo is available only at the event. It's very tasty. Last year's sake was made with rice from Hyogo, but they changed it to rice from Omachi, Nagano.

North Alps Drinking Walk underway 9/14-15 Started with Kagamibiraki at Hakuba Nishiki. Good luck! The Daiginjo selected by the toji is a blend of sake matured for 5 to 10 years. No strange smell, clean and mellow. It's amazing. Other examples are Usagi Giku from the series named after plants in the Northern Alps. A lineup of sparkling sake and other refreshing sakes, Hakubanishiki's specialty. There were no sakes that closely resembled Lulac's specs this year, but the composition was quite enjoyable for me, including the (horror of horrors) return of the president's heated sake corner.

whole neighbourhood of Yamato Fresh fruity aroma. Slightly soft sweetness and bitterness spreading on the tongue. Refreshing and delicious. Purchased at a sake brewery. A big house in Kitakata. I heard that the owner of Mine-no-setsu Sake Brewery is a board member of an association for a honey liquor called mead, so I tried a little. It was a sweet and delicious liquor like a dessert wine with a very floral aroma. The process of making mead seems to be similar to that of sake, and it is often made at sake breweries.

little A refreshing aroma between citrus and grape. Soft. Slightly effervescent. Sourness followed by a trace of bitterness. Delicious. Brilliant dry taste. Purchased at the supermarket across the national highway from Ozawa Sake Brewery. Shinshu-Shinmachi limited edition. The meaningless alphabetical notation "HIIRE" is adorable. The 137 is a pun on the word "Yugyo," meaning whale. A whale fossil excavated from the stratum of the late Miocene to early Pliocene (36 million to 5 million years ago) in Shinshu-Shinmachi, where the sake brewery is located, was recognized as a new species, Scientific name eubalaena shinshuensis Japanese name: Shinshu right whale The name "Eubalaena shinshuensis" is derived from its scientific name, "shinshu right whale. References Kimura et al. 2007 Gunma Museum of Natural History Research Report (11): 15-27 Made from produced in Nagano Prefecture, 33% polished rice.

Girakan (Giraffa camelopardalis, esp. Giraffa melanogaster) Aroma with a hint of milk. Numbness on the tongue. It is soft. Delicious. The lingering aroma as it passes down the throat. I don't know how to describe it, but it's a ginjo aroma. Umesu. This is a limited label of Tsugawa Kitsune no Bridegroom procession. The inside is traditional dry. On my way to Fukushima in June, I stopped by on the way to a festival. There is a park parking lot at the foot of Mt. Kirin, and across the bridge is the Kirinzan Brewery office and warehouse. They had a stall that day, so we bought some there. We went to the city center to visit the factory, where we participated in a tour of the brewery organized on the day of the festival. The brewery is a combination of machine control and craftsmanship. Tsukihaze brews light and dry sake. Preservation of mountain forests. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot of things! After that, I left for Fukushima around noon, so I must have looked like a strange visitor to the townspeople who left before the main event started.

design Banana-like aroma. Sweet. Goes well with the garlicky Matsumoto Sanzokuyaki. I thought so. We were given a sansatsuyaki and a sake cup at the venue, and participated in a curious event in which we were asked to choose the best sake to go with the sansatsuyaki from a list of 35 kinds (1 liter in total), without knowing the brand name. It was interesting. I like the Nagano Sake Brewers Association because they come up with some crazy ideas. The result will be announced on September 6.

rice husks Fruity aroma is hidden behind the nose piercing smell of alcohol. It is soft. The taste is gradually delicious. Numbness on the tongue. It is quite delicious. I am sure it tastes even better when heated. But I don't because it's too hot. Purchased at a sake brewery. In a residential area just a few minutes walk from the center of Obuse. They sell not only Yonekawa but also Toyoga. The owner (or was it the previous generation?) took care of us. A match came as an added bonus. Today. When you peel off the cap, the top part becomes a stopper. No date of manufacture.

northward (northwest) current Smells like pears. Drifts away just by leaving it. Dry but with a nice refreshing acidity that gives it a hint of sweetness. Quite delicious. It is like a sake from Nagano. Purchased at a sake brewery. In the center of Obuse. Located next to Sakurai Kanseido, a chestnut confectionery, and connected by a narrow road next to Sakurai's residence. They used to sell only a brand called (Hon)Yoshinogawa, but it was confused with Yoshinogawa from Niigata, so they started the Hokushin style.

Japan's antiquated yellow cicada (Graptopsaltria nigrofuscata) Odorless. Soft texture. Nearly tasteless, but the acidity causes salivation. Aroma through the nose is slightly peculiar. After swallowing, it leaves a lingering aftertaste on the tongue. The impression is that it is beautifully dry. Purchased at a sake brewery. A small sake brewery in Nihonmatsu City, where there are several large sake breweries sold throughout the country. It is a small sake brewery in Nihonmatsu City, which has several large sake breweries that sell their products all over Japan. We were given a short tour of the brewery. The brand name comes from the fact that Mt. Adatara near the brewery was called "Koshikumine," which means "steamer," in reference to the steamer used in sake brewing.

mathematical operation Gentle rice sweetness. Slight tongue numbness. Melon aroma. Refreshing flavor. For some reason, I felt the commonality of honey in the depths. Despite the old-fashioned label, the impression is clean and modern without any cloying taste. Surprisingly, it is quite tasty. Purchased at Sakai Meizo. Unzan used to be produced and sold under the same brand name at several breweries, including this one and Yoshinoya in the Zenkoji temple gate town. Currently, Sakai Meikozo is no longer making sake, but has a soba noodle shop, cafe, and souvenir shop in a renovated brewery building, and the old brewery is open for tours. The sake sales corner is modest.

western gate Calpis-like aroma. Fine bubbles. Delicious with a slight sourness. It is important to chill it well and not let it get lukewarm. I see what you mean, it's a beer. Purchased at a sake brewery. This sake brewery is located in the tourist area in front of Zenkoji Temple. The large site is open to the public for tours of the production process and displays of sake labels from around the country. The sales floor is designed to let visitors taste and buy sake. The unit price is high. Due to the nature of the area and the time of year, it is impressive that there are many customers who are not sake enthusiasts but seem to be ordinary people.

Dear Jay & Nobby The high unit price is a concern, but it is not a bad purchase if you are traveling by car since the parking lot nearest Zenkoji Temple is free. Please come to Shinshu Sake Trip as often as you like. The Suwa drinking tour is now open.

common shrub Alcoholic aroma with a hint of grape. Softness, dryness or numbness in the mouth. A little ripe aroma and melon-type sweet aroma. Well, if we talk only about the taste, the impression is weak, but the memory of going to Ouchi-juku to buy it is the biggest flavor enhancer. Purchased at Misawaya Kuemon in Ouchi-juku. Deep in the mountains of Aizu. The liquor store is located in a village with a wonderful landscape of rice paddies and thatched-roof buildings. The sake is aged in the snow every year, and this year is the 15th year. This sake is aged for one year. It is an interesting product whose price is proportional to the number of years it has been aged. I arrived early in the morning, so I brazenly approached the store as it was preparing to open and was allowed to shop. Very courteous customer service. I wonder if I will see Jugojo again the next time I visit. The QR code on the label is the line account of the liquor store. Correction. It was posted under Hanaizumi. It is Hanaharu.

Japanese crane (Grus japonensis) Discreet pineapple aroma. Slightly effervescent. Dry taste. Moderate acidity gives a refreshing impression. The bitterness remains and it is very tasty. This is the kind of wine that you will never get tired of drinking. Purchased at a supermarket in front of Komagane Station. They sell a set of fire-brewed Shinanotsuru. As expected of a local. The notation of the sake is Shinanotsuru, but the old signboard in front of the station and in the city is Shinanotsuru. The day I bought this, I went to the Yomeishu factory, the pride of Komagane, but no sake wa contributed in the past. It is a sake made from glutinous rice and koji, though. Is Hon Mirin sake or not?

liquidation (of a company) Citrus-like aroma. The sweet and sour taste makes you salivate and leaves a bitter and strong taste. It is somewhat effervescent. There is a floating smell that you can often see. For some reason, this sake brewery produces a sake that I like. I like it very much. I bought it at a sake brewery. It is a series of sake with elaborate labels. I have had R4BY in the past, but I think this one is better. In the sales area, there is a signboard from the Urushido Sake Brewery's past days. The brewery has a homelike atmosphere, which I like. On the day I bought this, I visited the Ookuni Sake Brewery in Ina, but was told that they had quit brewing sake. Thus, another brand closing its business without being able to drink. And I couldn't help but turn my extra budget and my desire to drink to Kasuga Sake Brewery. I knew I liked it.

Yoshinaka Kisso Aroma like apple stands out. Quite sweet. Aroma and acidity give a fruity impression. Strong taste. I like it. Purchased at the brewery opening in April. Nanasho releases a sake named after Kiso Yoshinaka every year as a challenge, and this year they used Nagano R yeast, which has the characteristic of producing an apple-like aroma. The very sweet taste has nothing to do with the yeast but with the way it is made.
